a card for Maddy

Hello my scrappy friends....I started out making this card for the Operation Write Home Sketch Challenge and after reading about Maddy Justice at the Simon Says Stamp blog, I knew I had to personalize this card for her.
Go, read about her, then take time today to make a card and pop it in the mail.

I made most of this card while at the cottage (this means limited supplies). Made the banner when I got back to the craft room today.

Stamp is Sentimental by Penny Black.
Die is Tide Pool by Die-Versions.

Thanks for stamping by....

LOVE this!! Great colors and totally great flowers. Love the twine between the flowers. Lucky Maddy! Wonderful take on the sketch. ~ Marilyn

Love the 4 square interpretation of the 4 squares. I'm a big fan of floss/twine, really love the twist on its use, fanning out amongst the brads. Creative, fun!

What a wonderful card for Maddy! I'm headed to Le Bonheur Children's hospital with one of my boys tomorrow and just might drop a card of for her at St. Jude since I'll be so close. I always love your work and this card is no exception.

Penny, beautiful card and I"m sure Maddy will love it! Thanks so much for the link at Simon Says, heading there in a bit to check it out. :) BTW, love how you worked the twine on the card, that's an interesting take I hadn't seen before! Such a cheerful card, thanks for sharing.
