Thinking of You at Less is More

Happy Tuesday my friends....

I am back in my studio for a couple of days, then off to play Playdoh with my grandsons...Oh what Fun!!!
My oldest (Declan) loves to squish the colors together and that makes Nana nervous...is that an OCD thing?
YUCKY !!!!

Anyway, you are here because of my card, so let's get to it...

Penny Black is playing along at the Less is More blog and giving away freebies...in case you are interested.

Go ahead and click on the Less is More below and check out the instructions for playing along.
My motto is "If it's Free, it's for Me"

My card is just a matter of masking off a section of the base card diagonally and using distress inks Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers & Salty Ocean.
I then stamped the adorable flowers from the Blooming Garden (Penny Black 30-155), and the sentiment  Sentimental (Penny Black 30-176) in Versafine Blue Lagoon ink. I also added White Enamel Accents to flower centers.

My DH thinks I messed the card up by not coloring the whole background. I told him that's how I wanted it to look. He wasn't impressed. Huh! (he has to walk by me to get to the kitchen...just wanted you to know I did not ask his opinion...after three years of seeing me make cards, he still doesn't get it, but I love him anyway).

Each Friday I will give a shout out to all new Followers (click on Follower Button on the right side) and if you have a blog, I will make a link to you also.

Thanks for stamping by, and an extra special {mwah} for leaving a comment and/or following my blog....

I like this masking technique for the sentiment. The colors are gorgeous. I laughed at your Dh's comment. Have a great day Penny.
