Joy Clair March Blog Hop

Welcome to the Joy Clair March Blog Hop!

You should have arrived here from the wonderful world of  LeeAnn's Blog. Along the hop you will find inspiration for eight new stamp sets, including four that could be used for Bible journaling.
Do you own a cutting machine? Each stamp set has a coordinating set of SVG cuts for only 1 cent.

Unbelievable!!!!!

Today my inspiration for you is on a Bible page. If you haven't tried it...go, go now and give it a whirl. So fun!!!

The Sunshine Flower from the new March release at Joy Clair is the focus of my first project. It is a build a stamp flower where I used Electric Neon Yellow ink for the base, Peanut Brittle for the second layer and Rhubarb Stalk for the final layer.
The foliage is hand drawn (ok,.. so I was not given much drawing ability).
The sky does have a bit of inking with Aspen Mist.
The bottom of the page is done with Pan Pastels.

With all the new stamp sets in the March release, I chose to use another for Bible journaling. These stamps would make a great addition to any craft room for card making and scrapbooking. Each and every stamp from the new release also has matching SVG cuts available at Joy Clair for a whopping 1 cent per stamp set. Yes, I know I had already told you this, but come on, this is unbelievable!
WOOHOO!!!!

The shield and sentiments from the Armor of God stamp set were stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink. Shield was colored with a bit of Delicata Shimmery Silver. Sword was stamped with Delicata Bronze and Crosses were stamped with Delicata Golden Glitz.
Love me some shimmer...on anything!

Penny: Somewhere along the line I became adverse to writing in my books. Maybe it was because we were passed down books, used them for the year, and passed them to the next year's class. However, the more I see Bible journaling, the more I am inspired to celebrate the glory of God through crafting. I really like your example of the strong words of faith in the margins with a cross between each. I could even see myself stamping and coloring the sun flower. Thank you for the "nudge" to Bible journaling.
