Up the Happy

Hey....

Ok, so admittedly this card is on the strange side.

I can honestly say I have never attached a spoon to a card front...until now.

I am playing in the challenge at Ellen Hutson with this photo inspiration:

I spy with my little eye... Red, White, Blue, straws, chevrons, dots and spoons.

So of course I had to just go with my gut.

After cutting the White panel with a Chevron design in Silhouette Cameo, I stamped a large scrap of cardstock with Bokeh Dots to use as my background. It was really bright so I toned it down by adding a piece of Vellum on top.

Sentiment from the Up the Happy stamp set (I mean really...how cute is that sentiment?)

Made a straw with stripes from White cardstock, added the plastic spoon and tied with a bow.

Crystal Drops were added to mainly camouflage my mistakes.  :)

This would actually make a cute party invitation!
