Copic Creations Challenge #52

I first want to thank Cathy Andronicou for letting us know about this challenge involving Penny Black goodies. She is so great at keeping us updated at the Penny Circle Flickr group.
So here is how I created this card...
Stamped Penny Black Squeeze til I Squeek with Momento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copic Sketch markers. Doodled the grass and around the edge of the card as well as the the center of the flower to give it dimension.
Used a scrap of patterned paper, distressed the edges and used Tim Holtz ink on this piece as well as the second layer of the card. Added orange ribbon and slid top layer of card underneath ribbon.

Penny Black & PB Saturday Challenges

&
Stamped the large flower three times from the Penny Black To You stamp set. Colored each layer of flowers with Copics. Fussy cut the flowers, then cut between the petals and fluffed them a bit. Distressed the edges of 2 patterned paper squares, and sewed to card. Added some twine and attached all  layers of flower with glue, the top layer with dimensional adhesive. Scored two of the edges of the card. Attached all of this to the card base.
For the inside of the card, I used a Stampin' Up sentiment and embossed with white powder. Stamped the same flower over the sentiment with Versamark ink, then scored two edges of the inside of the card.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge

My dad is going to love this card!
I used the Penny Black Spoolin Around, Holly Jolly and Party Pooped (made the impression backwards) stamps. Thankfully, I found a fishing pole and fish in digi stamps. The waves have been accented with Martha Stewart Fine Glitter and the bobber has Glossy Accents on top. I used Colorbox light blue chalk ink for clouds. Typed the sentiment and die cut with Spellbinders.
Gotta get this in the mail!

Penny Black Background Challenge

I made this card for a retired Police Officer that passed onto the other room this week. I can't tell you how gorgeous this card is in person. I have never made a completely distressed card (even the main card fold) and I just love how it turned out. I have entered this card in the Penny Black Background Challenge.
Inked the whole card with Tim Holtz Antique Linen, then used the PB Paisley Outline stamp also inked with Antique Linen (just like Jill showed us in her PB & J video). Then inked just the edge of this with TH Frayed Burlap. With the PB Poppy Poem stamp I used TH Crushed Olive and Wild Honey, then made a second impression of just the flower and used TH Wild Honey, distressed the edge and inked with TH Frayed Burlap. I used Spellbinders for the layer with the flower and the sentiment (digi stamp). Distressed all the edges and inked with Frayed Burlap. For the butterfly, I stamped with the Paisley Outline stamp, waded the paper into a small ball, flattened the paper and ran the TH Frayed Burlap over the wrinkles, then punched out the butterfly. Finally, distressed the edges of the card base and attached all the pieces.

For this Baby card I made a frame by using the Martha Stewart punch around.
I used Penny Black stamps Forever & Always for the background,
Christmas Critters and Baby Hammock for the center of the shaker card.
Leftover scraps used for the bottom border.
Give the card a shake and the baby confetti moves over the mouse and teddy.
Sentiment is a digi stamp from Netty's Cards.

On this card I used the PB To You (t-set) stamp embossed on vellum.
