to be Jolly

Hello my friends....

I was at the cottage for the past week, but I threw a few things in the car so I was able to put a couple of cards together.
I am so loving this new technique (to me) of using a stencil and applying embossing paste over it. You can buy ready made stencils or make your own from a sheet of acrylic and a die cut.
Here I have used a stencil I made. Aren't you just loving those tiny stars?

I stamped and inked the strips of paper with some new Penny Black stamps, trying to get a washi tape effect. I used Decadence, Christmas Wishes and Christmas Harmony. The sentiment is from Christmas Wishes.

The fun tags at the bottom are from the Christmas Banners set.
All inks are Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko.

On an exciting note...look who is a finalist for the new Design Team at Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko...Yay me!!!

Each Friday I will give a shout out to all new Followers (click on Follower Button on the right side) and if you have a blog, I will make a link to you also.

Thanks for stamping by, and an extra special {mwah} for leaving a comment and/or following my blog....
