Love You

Hey friends...wanted to post this to a couple of challenges before I head for the cottage. Can't wait to squeeze those grand babies!!!

I love the delicate flower background that Penny Black achieved with this stamp. LOVE!
Stamped and colored a larger flower to use on the ribbon. Edge die is appropriately named XOXO by Die-Versions, and the sentiment stamp is by Avery Elle. Love this sentiment!!!

The ink I used on this card is Versafine Vintage Sepia then heat embossed with clear powder. I also used a toothbrush to flick the Sepia ink across the top portion of the card.

Hope you have a super duper weekend and
thanks for stamping by....

my true North

Hello my friends...it is Friday and that means....well nothing really to me as I am retired from the rat race.
And LOVING it !!!!

How wonderful is this new die called "On the Trail" by Die-Versions ?!?

White card stock was inked all over with Memento Dandelion as well as the die itself. Sentiment is hand made with Silhouette Studio. The word "true" is a font die called Mucho Micro (adorable micro font perfect for card making), & added a tiny veneer star to the navigation "o".

Hope you have great plans for weekend and

OWH Challenges 4, 5, 6 & 7

I used a sketch from the Scrapy Land blog and will enter this card there also.

I was at the cottage when I made these four cards...which means I have very limited supplies.
The whole thing was cut with my very old Silhouette. The sentiment is a stamp from Hero Arts.

For Challenge #5 at the OWH Virtual Card Making Party using Sketch 171.

Does the paper look familiar?  Same paper I used in Challenge #4.
Again, everything cut with the Silhouette. Background stamp is a retired one from Penny Black.

Challenge # 6 is to use a photo on an AnyHero card.

I added a mat and a few corners cut from Silhouette...done!

Bees & Bunny stamped and colored with pencils. Very old corner punch and ran some American Crafts ribbon through it. Background is Squeeze til I Squeek (both stamps by Penny Black).

Thanks for stamping by and as always I really do appreciate your kind comments.
