Welcome little Bryna Kate

Hi friends....no little girls at my house as I have two sons and two grandsons, but I have to tell you I had a blast making this baby girl card with the new Tree Dream die from Die-Versions.

However...Melissa at CASology just had a baby girl and her Design Team asked us to send cards for a Virtual Baby Shower...how cool is that?!?  We have come a long way baby!

It is not exactly a CAS card...but I don't think she will mind.

Sentiment is from the Silhouette Store with a little manipulation so I could get the word "tree" in there.

This card is also entered into the Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks a million for stamping by (even if there is no stamping on this card)....

Tree Poem

Hello my friends....I have been away for a couple of days with the parents, and I so missed my studio. I know YOU know what I mean.
Surfing the challenges for this week and I found a few I want to enter...YAY!

This card was made for the CASology challenge:

OK, let's be honest...my idea of camping is the Holiday Inn. No stamps for camping, squirrels, fires, or Smokey the Bear...but there are loads of trees when you look out of a tent (I assume).

I love this Tree Poem stamp by Stampendous. I paired it with a wood grain folder and a little bit of Stone twine from The Twinery.

This card is also entered into the Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks so much for stamping by....

Deepest Sympathy

Selected as a Favorite of the Week at Split Coast Stampers

Hello friends....do you have days where you are keeping your cards pretty simple? It seems like the last couple of weeks I have gone to Clean And Simple...and I like it!!!

This card I made for the Penny Black Stamp Squad is super fast to make, yet looks very elegant.

On Wausau Stardust card stock I stamped the small flowers from the Blooming Garden 30-155 transparent set. I then die cut the oval from Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles, and stamped the sentiment from the Eloquence 30-162 set.

Ink three sides of the base card and adhere the panel with foam adhesive.
Add White Enamel Accents to flower centers.

Have you submitted a card at Penny Black for their Beat the Heat challenge?

There is still time! I know there are prizes involved and my motto is "If it's FREE, it's for me" !

Thanks so much for spending a part of your day with me.....

Find a Rainbow

Hello peeps..it's a record...three cards in one day, and I am pretty sure I am done.

Using the following as inspiration:

I wanted to play along today with Trigger Tuesday at Moxie Fab World.

How super simple is this card, I ask you?!?

Used the bottom of Glossy Accents bottles (small & large) to ink up and swirl against the white card stock. Tiny ink splats are by Neat & Tangled. Sentiment is Dream in Color by Reverse confetti.
Added Enamel Dots by My Minds Eye.
Start to finish was 8 minutes...now that is a record I tell you!

OK that is it for me...I need to reorganize my studio (my kids call it my Lab).

Thanks for stamping by...

the Whole Box of Crayons

Happy Sunday my friends... hope all is well in your part of the world.

Playing along today at Operation Write Home Sketch #183 and at Reverse Confetti.

Just received this stamp set from Reverse Confetti and I am soooo loving it! Lots of individual stamps to make your own sentiment, or there are a couple of pre-made sentiments, like the one above.

Crayon box made with Silhouette, stamped background with the word "color" all over using Watermark ink. Sentiment was stamped and heat embossed.

Much obliged for your comments and

Chevrons were embossed on left side of card, then chevron stamp was embossed with gold on the right side.
Sentiment stamp was cut apart then stamped and embossed. Just had to add a little gold cord.

Embossing folder is Charles by Provo Craft
Stamp set is Very Special by Simon Says Stamp

Ink Splash

Hello my friends.....Just received this great stamp from Neat & Tangled, so of course I had to ink it up and play along at their challenge blog Little Tangles (how cute is that?). As an added bonus in the envelope with the stamp was a small skein of twine clipped with a teeny tiny clothespin...super cute and so reusable...thanks Danielle.

Stamped the Ink Splash with Hero Arts Neon colors and set it with Clear embossing powder for shine.
A sheet of adhesive cork was used just below the stamped panel and sentiment was stapled to cork.

I foresee a lot of use with this stamp.

Baseball Time

Hello fans...Have you seen the Sports Themed July dies at Die-Versions?

Well, me bein' a baseball junky...you know I am lovin' the baseball theme.
How darling is this Baseball Stitching? And the Baseball Diamond with crossed bats...too cute, I tell you!!!
Sentiment is by Simon Says Stamp.

I added an acrylic circle sticker over the baseball, and I just love it!

For the card above I used the same Baseball Diamond and added a digi stamp on top, as well as the new Superstar edge die. You know you are loving the lime green and blue...admit it!

For all the B-Ball fans out there and in your circle of friends and family...these are MUST HAVE !!

So happy you joined me today and

Gift card with Necklace

Hello .....so glad you stopped by. Today for the Penny Black Stamp Squad I have a really fun tiny note card and matching necklace.
Card was stamped and then inked with with Memento Angel Pink, Dandelion and Danube Blue. I spritzed the card with Goosebumps Shimmer and added faux pearls.

The necklace is made from a Domino...and are super easy to make.

On the back side of a Domino you will want to make a small hole with a dremel.
Using acohol inks, dab onto domino until you get the desired effect you are looking for.
Stamp Sweet Melody 40-195 by Penny Black onto white tissue paper cut slightly larger than surface top. Coat your domino with Mod Podge and a paint brush, then lay the stamped tissue paper on top. Smooth out any wrinkles.
Next you will want to apply 1/4 inch scor-tape around the sides (I like doing it in one long strip). Now roll the adhesive in tiny glass beads of your color choice. (I used Martha Stewart Micro beads).
Place faux pearls and glitter glue as shown, then coat the top surface with Glossy Accents. (Similar to icing a cake).
Attach jump ring and cord for necklace.

Make ahead of time for last minute gifts for a friend, teacher, etc.

Clink the Beat the Heat banner for a chance to win prizes at Penny Black!

Life is ....

Happy Sunday my friends..... I wanted to make a card for the Sketch at Operation Write Home, but I also found a challenge at Moxie Fab to enter by using this picture as inspiration:

I am seeing lace and pearls. What do you see?

The card stock is Parchment paper.
Using the sketch I made a mask with my Silhouette incorporating lace outlines for my columns. Pear Tart Fireworks were also sprayed on the mask to give it a little sheen.
Pearl buttons down the center and a scrap of real lace across the bottom.

Hope you are enjoying a very crafty day and

You're kind of cute

Hello peeps....Playing along today at Avery Elle

Here is the picture they provided for inspiration:

I see a glass and straws and chevrons...what do you see?
(OK, I know those are arrows, but my first thought was straws, so I went with that).

I made the straws from computer paper, inks and the heart stamps from the Lots of Love set.
Sentiment is from the same stamp set.
Embossing folder is Charles by Provo Craft.

Hope you are inspired to play along also......go, go check it out!
