Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to my sister Vicki and BIL...
that makes two sisters with the same anniversary month. And they both got similar cards...hehehe!!!

I used the new Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves die, inked with Memento Luxe and spritzed with Goosebumps for some shine.
Sentiment is Sentimental by Penny Black and I added a hat pin with beads for some extra dimension.
Eeek...I popped this card in the mail...I hope the hat pin survived the trip...let's see if Vicki makes a comment.

I don't know why White embossing looks so pretty on Kraft card stock, but it does!

I have entered this card into the Moxie Fab World Trigger Tuesday challenge using this picture as inspiration:

I spy...leaves & wood...

Sup?

Hey friends.....
Halloween is really not my thing but I had this little cutie from Sassy Cheryl's, so I colored her up and will be entering her into the weekly challenge. I love the sentiment from Paper Smooches...LOVE!!!
My little teenage witch is just too hip!!!

Die cuts are from Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn Designs. Tickets are a freebie I found online and last but not least...I used Memento Elderberry Luxe ink, smudged it, so I had to make a fishtail with the sentiment to cover up my boo boo! :)

I have also entered this card into the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I Like You

Woohoo..for the weekend my people....

Playing along today at Reverse Confetti (again). If you haven't checked out their adorable stamps...you are missing out!

I wish I knew more about Photography as you can not see that the bottom of the card is just about the same color as the embossed sentiment....it looks so cool in aqua and brown.

Stamps used are I Like You and Arrows 'n Elements by Reverse Confetti.

The ruffle under the scalloped edge is actually ribbon I picked up in the dollar bin at Michaels...LOVE.... it ruffled so easily. Wooden scallop is Studio Calico, Brad is by My Mind's Eye, pattern papers are Winter & Autumn by Authentique.

Count Your Rainbows & Welcome

Woohoo..it's Friday.....

Do you have great plans for this weekend? Our weather turned cool yesterday and we are actually having a Fall weekend in sunny Florida!!!

I can not say enough times, how stinkin' adorbs the stamps at Reverse Confetti are!!!
This card is mostly made with the Count Your Rainbows stamp set, but I did end up stamping the arrow die cuts with some of the stamps from the Arrows 'n Elements set.
I have entered this little baby into the Reverse Confetti challenge.

Used my Silhouette to cut the line of hexagons, a tag die from Spellbinders, the Arrow die from Lil Inkers.
Some Copics for coloring and my beloved Liquid Pearls for flower centers.

I have also entered this card into the Challenge at Case Study #163 with this photo as inspiration:

I spy: Flowers, Pink & Fishtails...

Guest Designer at Sweet Stamp Shop

Hello my peeps.....

I am guest designing today at Sweet Stamp Shop, so all you are going to see here are little sneaky sneaks.
They have the most adorable stamps, and I had to laugh when I received the Happy Mail from them. They had sent the Made by #2 set ...(I had that on my wishlist, because that is what my kids call me...yes, they think I am the next Martha Stewart...now if I only had her money!...just sayin').

Click here to reveal the full projects.

Many thanks to the team over at Sweet Stamp Shop for asking me to Guest Design today...I had so much fun with your stamps.

Hugs, Penny

Season's Greetings

Hello my friends.....

While the babies were sleeping this past weekend, I was able to make a few cards.
Yay! Nana loves nap time!

I used a Spellbinders Curved edge die at a wonky angle then stamped Christmas Notes with Versafine Onyx Black ink. The sentiment is from the Christmas Wishes set.
All stamps by Penny Black.

I found the washi tape at Big Lots of all places while looking for some padded envelopes. :)

Season's Greetings

Happy Monday my peeps....I am back from the cottage and I came home to three boxes of goodies I had won during the WCMD contests....How FUN!!!!
Over the weekend Die-Versions posted this card on their blog and I wanted to share it here also.
I am so loving the technique of using embossing paste on a stencil and that is what I did here with the Heart Burst Doily die. I also cut strips of pattern paper and used the new Season's Greetings Wordlet  for the sentiment.

Christmas and Welcome

Happy Friday my peeps....woohoo it's the weekend.

Have you started your Christmas cards yet? For the past couple of years, I have made a special card for each person on my list and now I am nowhere near done. YIKES!!!

This one I am sharing today is for the Penny Black Stamp Squad.
I am entering it into the Christmas/Holiday challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge
The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge for a Nautical look.
The Case Study challenge using this photo as inspiration:

I spy stripes and dots and cording...

This card was super easy as it is just a matter of stamping and running a Scor-Bug between the sentiments. Wreath was heat embossed and fussy cut after a little shading with Copics. I am so LOVING the white/silver metallic cord from Lawn Fawn...super pretty!!!

Hope you have a crafty weekend planned. The weather has finally turned nicer and we have a great weekend planned at the Pumpkin Patch with the grandsons. Yay!!!

Let's go Shopping:
Stamps; Christmas HarmonyYuletide Greetings (Penny Black)
Glitter Blue embossing powder (Stampendous)
Brilliance Galaxy Gold & Silverlite inks  & Memento Danube Blue (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko)
Scor-Bug (Scor-Pal)

Life is about...

Hello friends and Happy Humpday!

Playing along at Reverse Confetti today...I just LOVE their stamps!

I made the "Chevron" mask with my Silhouette Cameo, then inked with Memento Danube Blue, Nautical Blue and Bahama Blue. One chevron was inked with Memento Rose Bud.

Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, added some twine and the ever adorable pointing finger was cut with the Silly also.

Using this picture as inspiration, I have also entered this card into the challenge at Moxie Fab Worlds Trigger Tuesday:

You're Special

Hello my friends....

Christmas card making is in full swing and with this one I am playing along at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge to use a punch. (the tag)

And how Special is the sentiment die???? It is one of the new Wordlets from Die-Versions. Tiny little sentiments just the right size for card makers...OK, they work on Scrapbooks also.

Click here to see all the new Wordlets at Die-Versions.

Those cute little Candi's dots in the top left corner...used to be black and silver...
painted with OPI Nail Polish...LOVE!

I used the Sketch from this week at Operation Write Home, so of course I am entering this card over on their blog.

Happy Anniversary

Hello friends.....
Today is my sister and BIL's anniversary...and this is the card I sent them.
Just received the Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves and I had to try them out.

Super quick card, as all I did was stamp and heat emboss the sentiment (Sentimental by Penny Black) on Cream colored card stock, added the leaves and a little jute. Brad is by My Mind's Eye.

So what is missing???? You guessed it...no Liquid Pearls on this one...I needed a change!
hehehe  :)

At Operation Write Home Boot Camp this month we are learning about "Balance" for our cards....I am thinking I am more of an Asymmetrical designer most of the time, yet in my home, as far as decorating is concerned I am Symmetrical...doesn't that seem odd?
Go check out Paula's lesson at OWH...she does such a great job!

Edited to Add:  This card is also being entered into the Moxie Fab World Trigger Tuesday Challenge using this photo as inspiration:

Noel

Happy weekend my friends....

I have decided I have a theme for my Christmas cards this year...Blue & White. No matter what I am making in the last few weeks, I keep grabbing for the Versafine Deep Lagoon ink...it is such a gorgeous color!!!

I stamped the wreaths (Wreath Celebration by Penny Black) and fussy cut them. Added them to a small square of white card stock with foam adhesive, then added that square with a slightly larger square.

Used my Scor-Bug to add a few bumps and die cut the new Wordlet "Noel" by Die-Versions...really like the white on white look!

Thanks & Welcome

Hello and Happy Friday my people....

This card was posted on the Die-Versions blog earlier this week, but I wanted to share it here also.

New to Die-Versions this month are the tiny Wordlets. Cute, tiny words for all occasions. You can see all of them here.

I used the new Scalloped Circle to cut a portion of my card away, allowing the Thanks die cut to shine in the spotlight. A little washi tape, ribbon and popped the front panel with foam adhesive.

Easy Peasy!!!
