Hang in there

Yay it's Friday!!!

Just wanted to pop in here with a 10 minute card. Sometimes the really quick ones turn out adorable.
This little thumb drive with his smiling neon face just makes me smile.

The whole card was created with Silhouette Cameo and Radiant Neon Electric Blue, Yellow & Orange inks (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko).

This card has been entered into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge...Anything Goes

Hope you are having a really crafty day and...
thanks for stamping by!

Sparkly Hope

Hello, Hello.....

Everyone needs Hope in their life. This word along with the pink ribbon has become a symbol of women (and a few men) who have Breast Cancer.
Yes, yes...I know it couldn't happen to you, (that was my thinking also....WRONG), but again today in the news is a prominent celebrity who just found out she has it. Joan Lunden reveals to Robin Roberts (also a BC Survivor) that she has been diagnosed.
It can happen to anyone...make sure to check the tatas and have your annual Mammogram.

(Now back to our regular scheduled blog post)

I am entering this card into the Friends challenge at Simon Says Stamp as I made this for a friend, who luckily is also a Survivor.
Also entered into the Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge...this week it is a Sketch.

EDITED TO ADD: Entered into the "Wonderful Words Challenge" at Moxie Fab World.

Let's go Shopping:
Neenah Solar White & Bright Pink card stock
Butterfly is a digi from Hero Arts (altered to include the word "Survivor")
Memento Luxe Rose Bud (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko)
Ribbon beneath butterfly is cut with Silhouette Cameo.
Die: Hope (Paper Smooches) then glittered up.
Wire Fence embossing folder (Darice)
Ribbon from stash.

Hoping you have a wonderful day in your corner of the world :)

Hello and happy Friday....

I have moved permanently to the cottage and finally have the studio up and running. I still need to make trips to Largo for treatments, as I am not willing to give up my Oncologist...but so happy to be near my grandsons who just happen to live down the street....Yay me!

Received some happy mail this past week..I LOVE happy mail that includes new stamps! Don't you?
How cute is this Oliver Owl by Reverse Confetti?
Kinda reminds me of Sally Jessy Raphael...if you are too young to know who she is...Google her.
The challenge this week at Reverse Confetti is a color inspiration:

I applied White Liquid Applique around Oliver's eyes, and I LOVE how it turned out!
Too cute!!!

Creativity with IMAGINE Crafts

Today I'll be sharing two different projects with you. The first is my project for the IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver Stencils Blog Hop. The second project I'm presenting today is the Altered Pages' Featured Artist submission. I hope that you enjoy both of these projects that I've created!

This week IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver Stencils are featuring a Blog Hop showcasing our fabulous products and providing some inspiration for you to get creative! And be sure to leave your comments on each artist's post that you visit for your chance to win a fabulous prize that includes IMAGINE Crafts and Dreamweaver products. Contest closes at 11:59pm PST on Sunday, June15th.

So easy to make and a uniquely cut front makes for a beautiful card.

Let's go Shopping:
Dreamweaver Stencils: Thank You & Amsterdam Flourish
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko:  Kaleidacolor Denim; Memento Luxe Wedding White
Modeling paste
Metallic White Twine
Faux Pearls
1/2 inch Circle punch
Foam Adhesive
Craftwell Ebosser

Tutorial:
1)  Cut Kraft card stock 4.25 x 7.25 inches. Score at 5.50 inches.
2)  On white card stock, brayer on the Denim Kaleidacolor. Cut a panel measuring 4.25 x 4.50. Emboss Flourish and ink with Wedding White while stencil is still in place. Attach to card front, then trim around the Flourish.
3)  Use Modeling Paste on Thank You stencil over a small section of the left over Kaleidacolor Denim. Let dry. Trim fishtails on ends and attach to card with foam adhesive.
4)  Punch half circles near top of card as shown, add twine. Embellish with faux pearls as desired.

***Blog Hop Hint - if you click on a link that takes you to a page saying something like, “Sorry this page cannot be found” just click on the header at the top of the blog (usually a picture or the blog’s name) and it will take you to that blog’s most recent post. That post *should* be our hop. If not, you can probably scroll down a short way to find the hop post.

Each Tuesday during the month of June, IMAGINE Crafts would like to share with you the projects that our Artists In Residence have created using products from Altered Pages. The Design Team at Altered Pages will also be featuring IMAGINE Crafts/Tsukineko products on their blog throughout the month and we hope that you'll visit the Altered Pages Blog to see the fabulous projects that their team has designed as well.

This card was out of my element (I tend to keep it simple), but SOOOOO much fun to make.
I am so loving that lace beneath the folded corner.
