Watercolor Sympathy

Hey, hey, hey....

I love visiting blogs and finding new challenges to participate in. I found this challenge ( The Card Concept) to be different and unique, in that part of the crafting experience is labeling the kind of creation I have made...clean and simple, shabby, geometric, etc.

Here is the actual inspiration photo:

I spy...lacey flowers and of course the color combo

I just love this new stamp Dazzlers by Penny Black. It is great for focal points as well as backgrounds

Watercolored the background first with Memento Luxe Teal Zeal & Pear Tart. Heat embossed the "Dazzlers", then watercolored over them. Die cut greeting is a newbie from Simon Says Stamp.

So, I guess I will call this creation of mine....Classy & Elegant.

And while I am entering challenges today...this one is also going into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where Anything Goes.

Have a fantastic rest of your weekend and....
thanks for stamping by!

Each Friday I will give a shout out to all new Followers (click on "Join This Site" Button on the right side) and if you have a blog, I will make a link to you also.

Thanks for stamping by, and an extra special {mwah} for leaving a comment and/or following my blog....

Awesome, Penny. That background is perfect for a sympathy card and shows off the dazzlers so well.

Hello :) I just wanted to swing by and say thank you so much for messaging me and letting me know what you used for the stitching look. Now I just need to find one as apparently they are no longer made or the stores in my area are just not carrying them. Fingers crossed I can find one :) Thanks again! Have a wonderful and blessed week!
