Gradient Leaves

Hi & Happy Halloween.......

I am stuck in the house today as I have new counter tops being installed, so I have locked myself into the studio. I know you all are feeling bad for me....hehehe

I am still playing with my new favorite toy...the Craftwell eBrush.
It is so much fun!!!

I love gradient coloring, and this card is no exception.
There is just something very appealing about Fall colors.

Everything on this card was airbrushed with the exception of the heat embossed sentiment.

Quick & easy!!!!

Chocolate Delight

Howdy doo......

Playing in the studio today, getting inky and stamping away.
Thought I would enter this card into the challenge at Altenew. Their theme is:

Chocolate Delight

One of my favorite color combinations is Chocolate Brown and Aqua...love, love, love!!!

I heat embossed all the stamping, as well as along the edges of the card front. I shaded some of the flowers with a marker to give it a little something, something.
Finally I spritzed the front with Sheer Shimmer Silver.

Challenges Entered:

Happy Anniversary Vicki & Rick

Hello, hello, hello.....

Just wanted to give a shout out to my sister Vicki and her husband....

Happy Anniversary!!!

Still enjoying my Craftwell eBrush and wanted to try a one layer card (why is this so hard for me?)

I masked the area, airbrushed, then decided I didn't like the stark line of color against the white.
Airbrushed again over that line and now I am much happier. :)

An Anniversary in Fall, just calls for those colors. I must say that I absolutely love the Liquid Platinum embossing powder (not quite gold, not quite silver but somewhere in between)

Hope you have the most wonderful day....
thanks for stamping by!

Let's go Shopping:
Penny Black:  Gratitude stamp set
Magenta:  Bushy Branch
Ranger:  Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder

Seasons of Gold

Woohoo...it's Friday

That doesn't mean much to me any more as I am retired, but I do remember when it was the best day of the week. :)

Broke out a new stamp set today...finally. I am going to look up and have very few Christmas cards made. On my to do list...make a mountain of Christmas cards.

Are you loving that watercolor background?!?

I had the whole card matted and put together, go to put on the irRESISTible Pico Tuxedo Black berries and my hand shakes...OMG...I am not starting over. So I shaved the thin strips of card stock (make a really thin cut and the paper curls), & added a bow.
SAVE!!!!

Fight Like a Girl..and a Guy!

Visit my blog at www.pennywardink.com

Hello my peeps.....

I made this card specifically for the challenge today at Die-Versions, but after looking at it, I thought I could turn this same card into something masculine for a friends son who is going through his own cancer battle.

I love the shimmer from the Delicata Golden Glitz ink!

Backgrounds were achieved by inking up craft mat, spritzing with water
and smooshing paper on top.

Stickles Star Dust was added to Pink Gloves.

Gold embossing powder used on the "manly" gloves.

I ran this stamp through Silhouette PicScan, so no more fussy cutting. Perfect die cut to this stamp every time!

PicScan used for tiny ribbon stamp also  :)

Challenges Entered:

Let's go Shopping for the Pink card:
Paper Smooches:  Hope stamp set
Mama Elephant:  Good Times stamp set
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko:  Memento Luxe ink Rose Bud & Tuxedo Black, Radiant Neon Electric Orange ink, irRESISTible Pico Wedding Dress
The Twinery:  Pink Sorbet twine

Let's go Shopping for the Gold card:
Paper Smooches:  Hope stamp set
Mama Elephant:  Good Times stamp set
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko:  Delicata Golden Glitz & Silvery Shimmer inks, Memento Luxe Tuxedo Black, irRESISTible Pico Tuxedo Black, Gold embossing powder.
Kreinik:  Gold Braid

Thanks for stamping by...
and remember the Power of the Pink!

CardMaker Magazine & Inchie Arts Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the

I must confess, I had never used Inchies before these projects and I am totally in love.
Little canvases at my beck and call, ready for me to adorn with ink, paint, paste...
whatever my little heart desires.

Using Fall colors and loads of stencils, each 1 inch square is uniquely done with embossing paste.

Leaves were airbrushed with markers, metallic cord added for a little shine.

Did you know Inchie Arts has more than just 1 inch squares?
They have all different sizes and colors.

I loved this 4 inch mat board square and wanted to make something besides a card:

Using a stamp positioner, I was able to achieve a layered look in Silver & Gold by heat embossing.

Now I have a tiny work of art to display in my china cabinet. :)

Hope these projects have given you inspiration to try your own Inchie Arts. Make sure to comment on each blog along the way as I heard there are prizes to be won.
