My Whole Heart

Hello friends...

Feeling a little crafty today. I made three cards so far and submitted six to current magazine calls.

woohoo!!!

Today I am playing along at Reverse Confetti using this picture as color inspiration:

Kinda liking how my creation turned out.

I used the new irRESISTible spray by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko in Tangelo and Dandelion.

I cut the Tag Me die from vellum and filled it with Aqua sequins. The tag has been stamped and heat embossed with the Reverse Confetti stamp set "Crushin'"

Twine is by The Twinery and a little teal embroidery thread.

Base card edge is inked with StazOn Teal Blue.

Hello friends......

You will find this card on the Time 4 Scrap blog today. The original inspiration was Chinese New Year......the only thing I could come up with was something colorful.

 I loved coloring this digi using a picture on the net to get the colors right.

There is glitter glue and Liquid Pearls on the feathers...to give the peacock a little something, something!

Are you liking the new look of my blog? I am sooooo loving it.

The best part about my new look, you ask......I told a web designer friend my likes and colors and this is what she created. I didn't have to know code, get frustrated when something didn't look right, I just sat back and wala....she did all the work!

 Navy, Lime, dots, fishtails ....... She nailed it!!!

Is your blog in need of a face-lift? No patience to do it yourself? Give Miss Paula at Handmade by Paula a little ringy dingy. (ok an email, but you knew what I meant). I am sure she can match you with the blog theme of your dreams.

Hello my peeps....

A couple of thank you cards were on the menu this week, and with so little time, I just made two cards from the same sketch.

A new friend who also has breast cancer gave me a lovely gift bag full of goodies to use on my medical adventure and another friend gave me a beautiful throw to keep me warm during chemo treatments. 

Super simple layout, cut with Silhouette Cameo. Awarenesss embellishment, sentiment and actual ribbon were inked with Memento Luxe Rose Bud (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko). Die cut sentiment is by PaperTrey Ink.

Colored card stock and embroidery thread finished this card nicely.

And best of all....a 10 minute card!

Hello friends....

I am finding it hard to get back into the swing of things after the holidays...are you?

I love Reverse Confetti stamps...not a bad one in the bunch, so I wanted to play along today with their Sketch for you to try using this as inspiration:

Using my Silhouette Cameo to cut the stitched banners, then inking with Memento Tangelo and Danube Blue & Brilliance White (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko). Stamped these fishtails with Arrows & Elements (Reverse Confetti) Sentiment from their Forever Fall stamp set.

Background was spritzed with Tangelo Fireworks (Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko)...LOVE!

Flower is 4 layers of a punched scalloped circle, soak with water, add brad to center, then bring all the layers up around the brad and let dry. Now peel the wrinkled layers downward...you know have a flower...wala!.

Penny Black Blog Takeover & Welcome

Hi friends.....

I have taken over the blog at Penny Black today. Shhh...don't tell!

As all great things must come to an end, this is my last post as a designer for the Penny Black Stamp Squad, thus, the naughtiness of taking over their blog for the day. So there!

Years ago when I first started stamping, it was a Penny Black stamp that was my first purchase. I have loved them ever since.  I am sure you can relate, that when I was asked to be on the inaugural Stamp Squad team, I was over the moon THRILLED!!!!!

I have so enjoyed working along side my Stamp Squad sistas Rosemary, Greta, Lin and my very good friend Judy. We together as a "squad", rocked our assignments...just sayin'

Thank you to designer Elizabeth Allan for all the encouragement, our cyber friendship means so much!

A special thanks to the Penny Black company for all the beautiful stamps I was blessed to work with.

 And lastly, to Jill Foster....you are an inspiration, a great leader, Design Team Coordinator Extraordinaire & the Queen of Color....keep up the great work...but No Pressure (inside joke...she always wrote that in her emails)....hehehe.
