Felt good for a couple of hours this morning, so I tackled a card that would fit into several challenges.

My oldest is turning 30 in a couple of weeks (how did that happen?)...so I am thinking he will receive this card unless I come up with something else.

Are you having a crafty weekend? I am playing along today at CASE Study using this card as inspiration:

I spy.....Red, Yellow, Orange, stripes, clouds and a Happy sentiment

For my card creation I used Spellbinders A2 Borders die on Authentique (Pride) & Echo Park (Apothecary Emporium) papers. I also used stamps from Reverse Confetti (So Stripey), Close to My Heart (Buzz & Bumble) and Penny Black (Letter Background). 

A big Thank You to Nancy Keller for swapping stamps with me...I had commented that I loved this sentiment stamp on one of her cards...and she sends it to me. There is no one more generous than my crafting/card making family!

 Hand cut clouds, a little twine, tiny heart punch and the new Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko.

On the Time 4 Scrap challenge blog today, it's all about Masquerade.

I so fell in love with this digi by Aurora Wings.

I love butterflies, but I really like how this one is watching you.

Butterfly was colored with Memento markers and spritzed with Shimmer Goosebumps.

Eyes were coated with Glossy Accents and the ribbon is by May Arts.

Faux pearls were colored with StazOn Gothic Purple by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko

Hey friends....

Playing along with the challenge at ScrapbookPal to make a card using Lawn Fawn products.

Ok...I will admit to only having a couple of Lawn Fawn stamps, but I think I have all of their twine ( I love how it comes on a card where you can just "spin" off the amount of twine you want to use)....it's the little things in life!

Let's make a card:

*  Cut a card base and fold to measure 5.5 x 4.25 inches. Stamp sentiment about an inch or so from the bottom.

*  Cut a piece of whaite card stock just a bit smaller than your base card. Center fishtail die over sentiment area and die cut.

* Wrap one side of diecut area with twine. Ink clouds as shown (I used a handcut cloud as my mask, then as the embellsihment to stamp my greeting).

*  Stamp and fussy cut paper airplane. Attach twine to back and adhere with foam adhesive.

*  Attach card front to base card with foam adhesive.

Hello my people...

I saw a challenge today on CardMaker Facebook page and thought I would play along.

The instructions for the challenge were:

Use 1 paper

1 heart

1 word sentiment

1 embellishment

Sounds simple, huh?  Oh my, not for me!

But let me tell you...I absolutely love how my card turned out. In fact, this is the card I am going to give to my Valentine.

So...the shopping list is pretty simple:

White card stock

"Forever" die cut with Silhouette Cameo and embossed into card front

Heart was also cut with Cameo, then spritzed with Lady Bug irRESISTible by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko

Hat pin with tiny pearls

Hello friends...

Have you ever bought a stamp set because you absolutely had to have one of the stamps? Well I can say now that I have done exactly that. Reverse Confetti recently introduced their newest collection and I just had to have the Crushin' stamp set, just so I could have this particular sentiment.

I have always said this to my dad when we hug or get off the phone with each other, so I have used it for his Valentine's Day card.

The inspiration for the layout came from this sketch:

Besides the Crushin' stamps set, I have used their Arrow & Tag Me dies.

Purple card stocks, a little Scor-Bug along the edge and some embroidery thread.

I love how the very skinny strips of card stock gave the tag a little flair.

This adorable digi is from Beccy's Place and I thought it would be fun to color it as well as paper piece it.

I was shooting for a Valentine's Day card for a man, so I really kept away from the pinks and reds.

Pattern Paper is "Grace" by Authentique.

Glossy Accents were added to the balloons.
