Hi.......

I saw the challenge at Hero Arts for a one layer card and thought, I can do that.

Yikes!!!!

I like to use layers and ribbon and embellishments and...well you get the idea!

I actually made three cards...the other two are in the trash.

Because it is only a one layer card that could be reproduced in less than 10 minutes...this would make a great creation for Operation Write Home. Yep, I think I will make a few more and pop these in the mail for our heros to write home on.

Howdy doo my friends...

Found a new challenge site to play at, and I loved their inspiration photo, so I decided to use their layout for a special occasion card.....chemo graduation!

Have you been to the card aisle lately? There are no cards for this very important date in a lot of peoples lives. From our very first chemo, we know the date it will end. There should be singing, there should be cake, there should at least be a card to commemorate this special feat.

You will now find this card in my Etsy shop, with plans for more coming soon.

I am playing along today at Case Study using this card as inspiration:

I spy....lots of words & cut outs.

Using a saying I found at the Silhouette Online Store and I absolutely love...I printed it twice (once with the word Dance in red), then die cut the top layer with Lil'Inkers Stitched Stars. Had to add a ribbon at the bottom to cover a boo-boo.....but it's all good!

Hello, hello...

We have a friend that placed 9th in the world at the Reebok CrossFit games yesterday, and we are so thrilled for him!     

 Way to go Dan!!!!

Of course I had to make a little something to commemorate this AWESOME occasion.

Apologies to Reebok for using their logo, but since I am giving this card away, 

I don't think they will mind.

I found the running guy on the web and made it into a mask on my Silhouette. 

Heat embossed it with gold powder. LOVE it!
