Silhouette Bedroom

Oh happy day.....

It is finished, complete, done!!!!

I don't normally show my bedroom on this blog, but there are a couple of things I did in my room makeover that I want to post to craft sites....so you get the pleasure of seeing where I lay my head.
The room is gray, white and teal (though the pictures somewhat reveal a different shade of blue).

The room was painted in Revere Pewter (a gray/beige I call Greige). Comforter and pillows were a find at Marshalls. I made the balloon curtains (that's what I did for a living back when I grew up with the dinosaurs).

The huge saying on the wall was cut with vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo. Maybe not something you might want to look at everyday, but when you have spent the past year going through chemo, you might change your mind. I needed a motto to get through the bad days and I just carried this saying through to my survivor mode.  :)

As you can tell, I am not a photographer, but I wanted to show the flowers I made from the left over fabric.

I cut 3 circles from fabric, sprayed with starch, poked a whole in the center and adhered with a brad.
Gathered up each layer around the brad, then twisted some floral wire around the base.
So easy!!!

Declan Stryker & Ryder Malachi

Teals frames I found at Micheal's on the clearance rack....Score!

When my grandsons were born, the nurse inked up their feet and smooshed them onto Papas white T-shirt. I cut the shirt up so I could mat these little piggy memories into a frame.
If you look closely, you can see that I die cut their names from the same color as the mat.
(of course, I die cut them several times, stacked and adhered them together, so they have a wonderful dimension inside the shadowbox).

Thanks so much for stamping by.....
Oh, no stamps were used in these projects.

Ok then, thanks for stopping by.....
