From Owl Family to Yours...

Twas the night before Christmas.....

Happy New Gear

Hello.....

Just a few last cards to share with you before the big day!

This one is going to my sister. The four of us (sister, husband, me and my husband) will be hitting the slopes in Vail very shortly, so she will love this card.

Hoping there is some new gear under my tree.

Using my finger I added Whipped Spackle to the card front and touched it with a little ink when it was dry.

Skis and mask were colored with Copic, a little White Amplify! on the hat for texture.

Glossy Accents on the goggles.

Delicate Ornament at Memory Box

Hey there....

It is Valentine's release day at Simon Says Stamp...

woo to the hoo

Thank you so much Miss Heidi and team for sending me an advanced sample of this super cute new die called Love Bouquet.

Two hearts entwined with foliage and a flower.

I cut a second flower and adhere a faux pearl.

The background is Whipped Spackling that I smeared randomly and touch it with a little Love Letter ink when dry.

Magenta Birthday

Hey....

A friend of mine has a daughter having a birthday on Christmas eve.

She asked me to make a card for her, but no Christmas on the card.

So the card front has no Christmas images, but I couldn't resist adding a little holiday to the sentiment.

Top sentiment is stamped, bottom half is heat foiled.

The bottom butterfly is heat foiled also with the young ladies name.

The rest of the card was eBrushed with Copic markers.

Christmas in Braille

Selected as a Favorite of the Week at Split Coast Stampers.

Hello....

I had a request from a friend for a Christmas card adorned with a Braille sentiment.
(thus the dark lighting so you can see the Braille)

After doing some investigating, I figured out it is not as hard as I thought it would be.

I downloaded a Braille font, typed out the sentiment, flipped it horizontally and printed it off on cardstock.

By flipping it before printing, I now have a guide to make small embossed dots from the backside with a dotting tool.
