Wreath of Joy

Hi there....

Sneaking this just under the wire at the Winnie & Walter challenge.

Let me just tell you how much I love this stamp/die company.....

They have the trendiest stamps and dies, but they also offer Digital Cutaways to use with your Silhouette, Cricut, etc.

Love, love, love!!!

On this holiday card I have used their In a Word: Holiday Digital Cutaways.

I increased the size by about 1/2 inch.
Completely coated the "Joy" and wreath with Ultrafine Glitter.
Color elements are washi tape.

so Happy

Hidey ho.....

Had a little bit of time in my favorite room yesterday to play.

This may be one of my favorite color combos...Coral and Navy!

Playing at Altenew with this little cutie:

I have been making so many holiday cards lately, it felt good to use a non-holiday stamp set.

White card stock was stamped, then colored with Copic markers.
Brad in center of flower.
This will make a pretty Kindness card for someone this month.

Sparkle & Shine

Hello....

What a week it has been. Family here for the holiday, all that shopping online.
I am exhausted!!!

Of course I am never tired enough to miss a W Plus 9 Challenge.

Our mission is to be inspired by this sketch:

I wanted to use a stamp set that has been neglected for awhile, so I blinged it up a little and turned it into a Christmas card.

I have absolutely fallen in love with the Red, White and Aqua color combo.
Red side panel is watercolored. Sparkle/Shine has been heat embossed for a little glimmer.
Snowflakes were coated with irRESISTible Pico, then glitter was added.
(Snowflakes were originally cut for another project, then decided to go another route)

Blue Christmas

Hello....

Squeezing into a couple more challenges before my house is invaded by family for our Thanksgiving feast.

Using a fun new die from Memory Box for the stitched circles and playing with my eBrush for all the variations in Blue.

Circles were eBrushed with Copics, then popped up with foam adhesive.
Love, love, love this new sentiment stamp from Damask Love.

For some reason, I am really loving gingham nowadays.

Scrapy Land  -  Monochromatic with a die
Merry Monday  -  Blue & White w/ texture

Memory Box:  Stitched Bubbles
Damask Love:  Be Merry stamp
Craftwell:  eBrush
Copic:  B00, B95, B26

Be Kind & Pass it On

Happy Thanksgiving Eve.....

Wanting to play in Jennifer McGuire's #sharehandmadekindness Challenge with this little cutie.

A week or so ago, I received a wonderful unexpected package of kindness from Judy Jung. You all know her, she does the Runs with Scissors column over at Penny Black.
She and I became friends when we were on the Penny Black DT together.
I have never met her, yet she is one of my favorite people.
We email, send cards to each other and occasionally speak on the phone.

I am returning the kindness she showed me with a little package I will pop in the mail tomorrow, along with this card.

She is going to be so surprised when she discovers there is NOT a Penny Black stamp anywhere on this card...hehehe

thanks

Hey there....

Found a few challenges to play in with this creation.

Simon Says Stamp Flickr is wanting something with this color combo:

I selected the pink, gray, aqua and teal for my card.

The other two challenges are from Simon also wanting a "Thanks" card.
So, it is an SSS kind of day!

Gray card base with hand stitching
Aqua layer was embossed with 3d folder and die cut stitching
Pink layer is stamped and die cut stitching.
Thanks was die cut then colored with Copics and an eBrush.
A pretty sheer ribbon and sequins finish the card.

for Emily

Hi there...

I have made this card and will be sending it to Jennifer McGuire so she can pass it onto a little girl named Emily who is going through Cancer treatments.
As part of Jennifer's #sharehandmadekindness Challenge, she is doing a card shower for this little girl as well as others.

I wanted to make something with critters, and what child doesn't love seeing their name in print?
I foiled her name, stamped the critters, and did a critter walk across the top.

I am hoping little Emily will enjoy my handmade love.
