It feels like forever since I have played in a challenge. My time is being consumed by non crafty things. UGH!

Over on the Ellen Hutson blog they are having a Mix Up Challenge with Penny Black.
I just had to play in this one.

Using Distress inks and a Misti stamping tool, made for a quick faux watercolor.


By just touching the edges of the inked image with a wet paintbrush and pulling it outwards, you get a great watercolor effect.
A little strip of Metallic Gold cardstock along the edge and just a touch of color in the upper right corner.
