Anchors Away with The Project Bin

Ahoy there matey...

The good folks at The Project Bin have done it again.
Just check out this stamp set:

These stamps are going to make such super cute cards and layouts for those that love sailing.
However this particular sentiment can be used on projects that really have nothing to do with sailing, but more for encouragement.

This card is quite easy to reproduce as it involves a lot of pattern paper.
Circles were cut with my handy dandy Silhouette Cameo, but really, any circle die would work.

Sentiment from the newly released Anchors Away set was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink, then the wheel was coated with Glossy Accents.

Of course not being a sailor myself, I had to peruse the internet to find out how to tie the twine.
Gotta love Google!

Mondo Magnolia

Hidey ho friends....

Playing along today at the Ellen Hutson Challenge...Pin-Sights.
Using this photo for inspiration:

For my project, I chose to use Yellow, Aqua and Dark Pink.
I spy stripes and flowers also.

Just so you know....
One of my most favorite stamps ever is the Amazing Women set by Ellen Hutson.
LOVE !!!

I spritzed Fireworks Dandelion and Lilac Posies on white card stock, then stamped and fussy cut the Mondo Magnolia flower a couple of times to achieve dimension.

A few stripes and Grape burlap twine along with that ever so beautiful sentiment and I have a finished card.

Impossibly Fun with The Project Bin

Hello, hello...

Excited to show you more cuteness from The Project Bin.

A few days ago I featured a card with Wise Women phrases, so it is only fair to include Wise Men phrases also.

Today I give you a quote by Walt Disney:

Doing the impossible is always fun!!!
So how about never before seen Pink, Black and Gold feathers?
They were watercolored with Peerless and a Delicata Golden Glitz reinker.

Paint splatters and card was edged with Golden Glitz ink.
Swirled white twine in paint so it coordinated with the feathers.

This would be a great card to send to someone who just got promoted or recently achieved one of their goals.

Thanks a Bunch

hey...

Just playing along in a challenge today at Reverse Confetti.

Using the above sketch as a guideline.

Playing with new goodies from Lindys Magicals I started with the woodgrain panel to see what colors magically appeared. I have been using the same three colors for a while now, and the result is always a mystery.
How fun!

Background is two different colors of card stock that has been embossed.
Circle garland was die cut and trimmed so it looks like one continuous string behind the sentiment. :)
Fancy Words (thanks) was die cut and FW Coordinates was stamped and heat embossed.

A few super tiny flowers and some twine finish this card.

Friends that Matter with The Project Bin

Hi....

Denise (the owner) of  The Project Bin, must have some imagination!!!
She not only came up with a stamp set featuring popular phrases by men (look for this inspiration in a few day), but she also produced a set made with phrases by a few Wise Women.

How true is this sentiment?????

A real BFF in your life wouldn't mind that call at 4am.  :)

Using a fun pattern paper from Authentique and a Scroll folder for embossing makes this card super cute.
The swirled edge was die cut, then needing a little brightness, I added a line with a white gel pen.

Tiny flowers were die cut, swirled and adhered to card front. I always love throwing in an odd color flower so the trio stands out.
A few small faux pearls and this card is Easy Peasy Mr. Sneezy!

The Project Bin:  Wise Women stamp set
Authentique:  Uncommon 6 x 6 pad

Provo Craft:  Scroll embossing folder

More Cowbell with The Project Bin

Hey there....

Just to let you know that I am a huge Tampabay Rays fan!

A few years ago when Joe Maddon was the coach, he always insisted that the Rays needed "more Cowbell". What that means I have no idea, other than it was a skit from Saturday Night Live. :)

So the fans bring and ring their Cowbells at the games.
(Isn't it convenient that I live close enough to attend the games?!?)

I was thoroughly excited to see this phrase on the stamp set Bazinga by The Project Bin.

Of course my card had to do with baseball.
A sliver of pattern paper and a die cut of threads on a baseball.
Cowbell was found on the big World Wide Web, fussy cut and slathered with Glossy Accents.

Make sure to check out all the super cute sentiments on the Bazinga stamp set:

The Project Bin:  Bazinga stamp set
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko:  VersaFine Majestic Blue ink
Die-Versions:  Baseball Stitch die (oops...no longer available)
TBR Pattern paper
Ranger:  Glossy Accents
Lawn Fawn:  White/Metallic Twine

Thanks so much for swinging by...
