Having Fun with The Project Bin

Hello, hello....

With a sentiment like this one from The Project Bin, I wanted to make a bright colored card.

A clipboard colored in Neon inks is always fun.

But let's talk about the background.

White card stock that I flicked paint onto.
Hmmmm....just not fun enough, so then I took irRESISTible Pico embellishers in Neon colors and started dropping blobs of color.

Hardest part of this card...letting it dry!

Some twine from May Arts, a few sequins and you have a card worthy of sending to anyone really, but this one is going to my grandson who is graduating from pre-school.
Yep, my little Declan is going to be a kendagodna next year.

(You do know I spelled that wrong on purpose...you know ...Joe Pesci from Home Alone movie).

Ok, that's it for the day!

The Project Bin:  Fun is Good stamp set
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukienko:  irRESISTible Pico Neon Orange, Blue, Pink, Green, Purple
Peerless watercolor paints
Silhouette Cameo & Clipboard file
May Arts: Orange and Lime burlap twine
Pretty Pink Posh:  Sequins

Paint Chip with The Project Bin

Hey there...

I am so bad! Could not help myself while I was on a shopping expedition with the hubs at Home Depot.
Yep...pulled out this oh so gorgeous paint chip knowing I was not going to buy paint, but instead use it on a card.

I do hope the good people at the Behr company know that they make the most beautiful, usable paint chips! :)

So I am looking at this paint chip and I remember this cute stamp set by The Project Bin called Awesome Sauce.
Yes siree....the perfect sentiment for my paint chip card.
Because you know you have lifted a few of them too...RIGHT?!?

Stamped the sentiment, die cut that with a speech bubble, added a few flowers and some Liquid Pearls for the centers.
DONE!!!

The Project Bin:  Awesome Sauce stamp set
Lil Inkers:  Speech Bubbles die
May Arts:  Sheer ribbon
Michaels:  Darling little flowers
Ranger:  Peacock Liquid Pearls
Tiny clothespin from stash
Home Depot:  Behr paint chip

Joy Clair, Die-Versions & DL.Art Hop

The Design team of Joy Clair have collaborated with two awesome companies: Die-Versions and DL.ART to bring you a fun and festive Celebration Blog Hop.
Great stamps from Joy Clair, new intricate dies from Die-Versions and to tie it altogether we are using oh so cute ribbon from DL.ART.

The Celebration Hop will take place today, tomorrow and Friday. The Design Team members will be sharing projects for all the many celebrations that come this time of year, ie...Weddings, Baby Showers, Graduations, etc. See how well these products work together while visiting each Designer on the hop.

There will be prizes for those who comment on all the blogs over the three days and who become followers of each blog (Just click My Talented Friends over on the right).
Prizes will be announced on all three company blogs: Joy Clair, Die-Versions, DL.Art
Sunday May 22nd.

You should have arrived here from the wonderful Anne Temple's blog, if not, then please start at the beginning of the hop at Joy Clair.

I cut the baby bottle with my Silhouette Cameo, but really it would be easy enough to do by hand.

The adorable Bib from Die-Versions was die cut then tied to the neck of the bottle with that wonderful crinkly Mint ribbon from DL.Art.

Sentiment from the Joy Clair Oh Baby set was stamped with matching ink, trimmed the ends then ran the long edges of the banner along the ink pad for a little interest.

Joy Clair:  Oh Baby stamp set
Simon Says Stamp:  Audrey Blue ink
Ranger:  Stardust Stickles

I'm Home with The Project Bin

Hello...

Ok, answer me this...who would not love to receive this card?!?

The sentiment from the Fun is Good stamp set by The Project Bin is such a huge compliment to the recipient of this card.

Besides creating a card with this stamp set, it has unique sentiments for really cute layouts also.

Simply put, I used a lot of pattern paper, a doily and I fussy cut the tiny home embellishment.

Adhered all together and wiggled in a some twine to give it a little something, something!

The Project Bin:  Fun is Good stamp set
My Mind's Eye:  Remarkable 6 x 6 pad
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko:  VersaFine Onyx Black ink, Pico Shimmer

Amazing Grace

Hi...

One of my most favorite songs is Amazing Grace, so when Our Daily Bread Designs came out with the How Sweet the Sound stamp set, I had to own it.

Playing in their challenge this month using flowers on my creation:

The bottom panel was embossed with a Waves folder.
The top panel was stamped and trimmed around the "g".

A little ribbon to bring the two panels together and the sweetest little flowers that were ever die cut, rolled and fluffed for a more realistic look.

A punched vellum leaf and the looped twine just gives it a little something, something.

Simon Says Stamp Monday  -  Emboss it
CASology  -  Tear
Scrapy Land  -  #41 Anything goes with a die

Our Daily Bread Designs:  How sweet the Sound stamp set

Hibiscus Prayers

Hello....

Just playing around and I found a new challenge to participate in.
The Color Throwdown:

Using Cobalt Blue, Kraft and Gray to make my card along with a sketch from another new to me site, Freshly Made Sketches:

Combine all these ingredients along with a little paper and ink and this is what I created:

Blue background was embossed then stamped and heat set.
Edge of base card is Washi tape.

Flowers and foliage are die cut.

Not a color combo I would have thought of, yet I like the results.

Freshly Made Sketches  -  Sketch
Color Throwdown  -  Color combo
CASology  -  Tear

Simon Says Stamp:  Friendship Blooms stamp set
Poppy Stamps:  Sylvan Sprig die
Memory Box:  Hibiscus Flower die
Crafters Companion:  Elegance embossing folder
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko:  VersaMark ink, White embossing powder
Heidi Swapp:  Washi tape
