Share the Love Day 3 with Ellen

Hidey ho....

I am having a blast playing in the challenges at Ellen Hutson this week.

Using the Bokeh Dots stamp set, I created a background for my card that somewhat resembles the Olympic circles. :)
BTW... can't wait for the games to begin in Rio.

I paired the circles and dots with a super cute die cut by Winnie & Walter.

To finish the card I added a bit of Lime Burlap String and a few Crystal Drops.

This card is bright and colorful, but it would also work for a "manly" card.

Ellen Hutson:  Bokeh Dots stamp set
Winnie & Walter:  Ina Word Hugs die
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko:  Memento Love Letter, Danube Blue, Tuxedo Black, Dandelion, Radiant Neon Green
May Arts:  Lime Burlap String

A Two-fer day with The Project Bin

Hi...

OK...after looking at this card is that song now in your head?
Oh, poor you...just think about what I have been going through while making this card!!!!!

What a super duper fun stamp set this is from The Project Bin.
Great for Summer Fun card making and page layouts.

The clouds are a die cut, the bag is a file I cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
I also ran the bag through with an embossing folder to give it some texture.

Sentiment was stamped three times on pattern papers, then cut apart to tuck under the Puffy Clouds.
I do have to admit, that is a sad looking towel in my beach bag. :(

And using the brand spanking new stamp set Born Yesterday....

Wanting to use some fun bright summer colors to make a statement...as if the sentiment doesn't!!!

hahahahahahaha...
Yeah, that was about 20 years ago on my weight and
about 25 years ago for ages of most of my friends.

Hoping you enjoyed my summer inspiration today.

Magnolia Frame with Ellen Hutson

Hey there....

Playing today at the Share the Love with Ellen Hutson in her Transparent Challenge for Day 4.

So here is how I made this very unique card:

I stamped the Mondo Magnolia and turned it into a die cut with my Silhouette Cameo.
Colored it and tucked a left and bottom petal around a piece of White card stock making a "corner frame".

I die cut a piece of heavy Vellum with a Winnie & Walter die, lined up the Vellum with the Magnolia "frame" and stamped the Mondo Magnolia onto the Vellum, then heat set.

Added some stamped stripes at the top and a cute shiny corner at the top right that was heat set then die cut.

Pretty dots of Crystal Drops finished the card.

Ellen Hutson:  Mondo Magnolia
Winnie & Walter:  Scenery Stripes, The Big Bold Friends stamp set, Audrey die set
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko:  StazOn Jet Black ink, VersaFine Onyx Black ink
Ranger:  Platinum Embossing Powder
Tonic Studios:  Glossy White & Black Crystal Drops
Copic markers:  E93, YR02, R22
Silhouette Cameo

Share the Love #5 at Ellen Hutson

Hi....

Oh my word....today I have a card that I actually made for a challenge. Not for DT work, not for a magazine submission...just because I wanted to play at the Share the Love Challenge at Ellen Hutson's.

I spy with my little eye...
Black & White stripes, Gold, Flowers, a pretty Lime sweater and the tiniest bit of Aqua.

Tada....

Mixing it up with Winnie & Walter, I used their Stripes and Thanks sentiment to pair with Ellen's Mondo Magnolia and lovely Amazing Women sentiment.

Magnolia was heat set with Gold embossing powder and colored with Copic markers.
Background is an embossing folder with stamped stripes and a bit of washi tape.
I also added a touch of Lime Burlap String and a few Crystal Drops.

Ellen Hutson:  Mondo Magnolia, Amazing Women stamp set
Winnie & Walter:  Scenery Stripes, Scenery Bigger Bang Confetti stamps
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko:  VersaMark ink, Gold embossing powder, VersaFine Onyx Black ink
We R Memory Keepers:  Quilted embossing folder
May Arts:  Lime Burlap String
Tonic Studios:  Glossy White, Caribbean Ocean & Apple Green Crystal Drops
Copic markers:  YG21, YG23, YG25, YG67

Happy Birthday Ryder

Hey....

Our youngest grandson is having a birthday party today.
Though his name is Ryder, I call him my little Pop-Tart and he calls me The Boss of Everybody.
I mean really, how cute is this kid????

To be honest, I saw a similar card on the big WWW that was done on a computer, but I loved it so much that I went ahead and CASE'd it with die cutting and love.  :)

His name has been cut several times on my Silhouette Cameo, then stacked and adhered together as was the yellow offset.
Yellow background is an embossing folder (Polka dots, now will make me think of Lego dots).

There is actually more text at the bottom of the card, but for safety reasons, I erased it on the photo.

Pretty simple card, yet the colors are so striking.

Silhouette Cameo
Computer/Printer
Provo Craft:  Polka Dots embossing folder
Tonic Studios:  Red Berry, Glossy White & Dandelion Crystal Drops
May Arts:  Black Burlap String
