a Beautiful Day

Hi.....

Playing along today at Ellen Hutson in her Pin-Sights Challenge using this photo for inspiration:

I spy with my little eye... peach colored flowers, clear glass and a beautiful font!

Using her new stamp Mondo Peony also qualifies this card for the NBUS Challenge.

Mondo Peonies were stamped and colored with Copic markers.
A bit of edge trim along the left side.

A strip of Vellum that is stamped and heat embossed with a greeting, then sewn across the top. Finally, a tiny butterfly that has been fussy cut.

Copic markers:  R30, R32, R35, R59

Autumn Colors with The Project Bin

Hello....

Do you save color combos to one of your folders in Pinterest?
I save them all the time, and thought it would be fun to actually make a card using one.

I really stuck to the color palette until I got to the tiny leaves. :)
What Fall card doesn't have purple and green leaves?!?

Background panel was embossed with a Leaf stencil, then inked around the edges.
Ovals were die cut, stamped and heat embossed.

I just had to get some of that Teal in there somewhere...so why not some ribbon.
Tiny leaves were die cut and inked.
To be honest...not really crazy about the Gray oval, but I went with it. :)

This adorable sentiment as well as four others can be found at

Memory Box:  Stitched Oval Layers, Autumn Border die, Falling Maple stencil
Imagine Crafts:  Tomato Vine Kaleidacolor ink, VersaMark ink, White embossing powder
Ranger:  Distress inks Antique Linen, Rusty Hinge, Walnut Stain
Teal ribbon
Tonic Studios:  Copper Penny Crystal Drops

Christmas is a State of Mind

Hi.....

I am in full swing making Christmas cards.
You will also notice in the next couple of months, that I don't use a lot of Red & Green.

So I present to you a little Pink and Red:

Using digi papers on found on the WWW and a couple of dies by Memory Box, really showcase the sentiment from The Project Bin.

If you are totally in love with the movie "Miracle on 34th Street", this will be a must have stamp for you.... with a bit of the "Grinch" added in:

I may be getting older but
I Still Believe!

I am loving the glass drops for the berries.
But chemo brain has not left yet and I can't remember the company I got them from.
Anyone????
