Believing with The Project Bin

Hi there....

Ok, so I got carried away with the bow.
Not something you would want to pop in the mail, but you could hand this card to someone.

Using Lindy's Magicals for the watercolor background is so easy.
You never know what you are going to get.

Frame around the watercolor is just an inked panel using Delicata Golden Glitz ink.
Easy Peasy!!

Sentiment from the Maybe Christmas stamp set is stamped and heat embossed.
This stamp could be used all year long if you eliminate the prancing reindeer when you stamp it.
In fact, take a good look at the stamp set below...now think of all the Bible Journaling you could have fun with.  :)

The bow....Google how to make a hair bow. :)

Lindy's Magicals:  Autumn Maple Crimson & Ponderosa Pines Olive
Imagine Crafts:  VersaFine Onyx Black ink, Clear embossing powder, Delicata Golden Glitz ink
Burgundy Ribbon

Back The Blue

Hello there...

I found the most wonderful Kindness Sharing site on Facebook, thanks to Jennifer McGuire.

It is a group of card makers who send handmade kindness to Police Departments all over the States.

It is a really rough time for our men and women in uniform and this is a great way to show we
BACK THE BLUE.

As many of you know, my husband recently retired from 35 years of law enforcement.
Working nights, afternoons, weekends, holidays...
ours was what I call marriage by note.
I was walking out the door to work, while he was walking in from work.
Like two ships passing!
We also have a son that is a Police Officer

It's a tough job.
99% of Police Officers do this job because they love helping people, as it certainly is not for the money.

I hope you will join us over at:

Make a card for our Heros in Blue or for your local Firemen in Red.
They would love to receive your handmade kindness!

Pop one in the mail today!

Autumn Tree with The Project Bin

Hello....

I do love making cards for Fall. Love, love, love the colors!!!!

AND

Have you purchased the new Delicata Celestial Copper ink?
OH MY WORD!!!!!

As you know, shimmer does not show up well in photos, but if you will trust me, you are going to want this ink pad.
Frame and sentiment were coated to give this card a little something, something!

Is that sentiment just too adorable for card making and scrapping photos of the season?!?

I love how Denise over at The Project Bin always slips in a stamp or two that can be used all year long. :)

Autumn leaves are die cuts from watercolor paper. They were sprinkled and spritzed with Lindys Magicals.
Green leaves were cut with Silhouette Cameo.

Luke 2 with The Project Bin

Hey there...

Ok...this is just about the coolest thing ever.
I am probably late to the game on this one but I figured out how to print a picture and transfer it (color and all) to a Bible page.

If you already know how to do this...quit laughing!

I wanted to use this new stamp from The Project Bin in my Bible.
How adorable to use this particular verse with a Manger scene ?!?

So.......

I found the cute Manger scene in the Silhouette Online Store, printed it with my inkjet printer onto wax paper, placed it on my Bible page and rubbed it very gently with an old credit card.
It transferred beautifully!

I added a bit of shading with colored pencils, but the colors came out pretty vibrant, so you could totally skip that step.

I mean really...how stinkin' cute is the Precious Moments Manger with the
stamped sentiment?!?

Christmas is a State of Mind with The Project Bin

Hey....

I just can not get enough of this holiday stamp set by The Project Bin:

My all time favorite holiday movie is Miracle on 34th Street, and this stamp set has a few quotes that are just irresistible.

I used a freebie pattern paper download, so what you are seeing as the main card is actually all one layer.
Yep...it's true!

On the bottom half of the card, I inked the pattern paper with Peacock Feathers distress ink, then flicked some water onto it.
Die cut swirl and Poinsettia.

Sentiment from the Maybe Christmas stamp set was inked with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

Memory Box:  Elegant Snowflake Flourish
Spellbinders:  Poinsettia
Imagine Crafts:  VersaFine Onyx Black ink
Ranger:  Peacock Feathers distress ink
Tonic Studios:  Glossy White & Apple Green Crystal Drops
Twinklets:  Diamond Dust

It's a Washi

Hello....

Found a couple of challenges to play in...woohoo!!!
Altenew has a photo inspiration this month:
I spy with my little eye... Stripes, Washi tape, Spritz bottle

This card is so simple to make, it probably won't even take you 10 minutes to recreate.

I took a large scrap of White cardstock and just started adding Washi tapes across the paper.
Die cut with Reverse Confetti All Framed Up.

Did the same application of Washi tape for the flowers.
Stamped with StazOn ink and trimmed.

Card base was spritzed with Pear Tart Fireworks in the bottom left
corner before adding embellies.

Reverse Confetti:  All Framed Up die

Pumpkins

Hi there....

Fall is in the air...somewhere!

The challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp Flickr is Fall themed.

I do Believe that everything is possible...like flowers growing with pumpkins.

A woodgrain background stamped with Toffee Crunch, then inked with Antique Linen, Scattered Straw and Rusty Hinge.
A tiny strip of cardstock inked with Delicata Celestial Copper.
(Trust me, you want this ink pad)!

Pumpkins are by Memory Box

My daisy was coated with Glitter Ritz, because...
I needed some bling!

White Flowers

Hello, hello...

Ok, so I am getting a little tired of making holiday cards...already!

Decided I needed to play in some kind of challenge this week, so I chose Ellen Hutson Pin-Sights and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

I spy with my little eye...an Aqua wooden door with White stenciling.

So...for my background I found the cutest digital pattern paper.

I did add a bit of beige paint at the bottom to make my heat embossed sentiment show through.
Bold Blooms are heat set also, but the card needed a little something, so I ran the flower stamps through my PicScan to make actual die cuts from the stamp.

Roughened up the edges all around and added a few crystal sequins.

Imagine Crafts:  VersaMark ink, White embossing powder
Simon Says Stamp:  Moonshine sequins
