Believe

Hidey ho....

Yes, I know it is Halloween, but that is not my favorite holiday, so you are getting a Christmas card instead.

Playing in a Simon Says Stamp challenge with this one.

Dark Gray cardstock that is heat embossed, then die cut large sentiment in Dark Gray and again in White.

The Holly needed some berries and they are so simple to make with Crystal Drops.
Edged the whole card with some embossing and my handy dandy scoring board.

Simon Says Stamp:  Holly Berries stamp, Believe stamp & die set
Imagine Crafts:  VersaMark ink, White embossing powder
Tonic Studios:  Autumn Red Crystal Drops

Christmas Together

Hi....

Have you ever just wanted to make something totally different than your normal style?

I have all these cool Delicata ink pads and wanted to see what they look like on black.

Must admit, I am kinda liking it!

The poinsettias are stamped with a Misti and Delicata Golden Glitz, Celestial Copper and White Shimmer.

Sentiment is heat embossing.
Glass beads for the "berries" and Crystal Drops for flower centers.

This card is just shimmery goodness!!!

Imagine Crafts:  Delicata Golden Glitz, Celestial Copper, Shimmer White, VersaMark ink, Gold embossing powder

Be Badass

Hello, hello....

October is winding down and soon all this glorious pink will go away.
I know you have seen pink ribbons everywhere this month.
Did you do something about it?
Did you have your mammogram?
Did you check those tata's in the shower?

Today I am playing with Pink in two challenges.

Watercolor paper was swirled in wet Memento Luxe inks.
Believe was die cut and eBrushed.
The rest of the sentiment was stamped and heat embossed.

Butterfly was was stamped and fussy cut.
It needed a little something, something ...
so I added some glue and Clear glitter.

Simon Says Stamp:  Believe die cut
Cas-ual Friday's:  Be stamp set
Imagine Crafts:  Memento Luxe Angel Pink & Rose bud ink, VersaFine Onyx Black ink, Clear embossing powder
Craftwell:  eBrush
Copic marker:  RV09
Tonic Studios:  Glossy White & Rhubarb Crumble Crystal Drops
Glitter Ritz:  Cool Highlight glitter

Cherish

Hello....

Let me just start by saying that I think Mimi Jourdain (Penny Black Designer) does amazing things with their stamps.

I saw a card she had painted on Pinterest (that beautiful card below) and I just had to have that Milk Can stamp.....
UGH...it's not a stamp, she painted that freehand.

So, what's a person to do?

I am hoping she thinks imitation is a form of flattery, because I needed to make a similar card.

I stamped the poinsettia in Fall colors using Imagine Crafts inks.
The Milk Can is in colored pencils.

By no means can I draw (well, maybe stick people), but that didn't turn out too terrible.
Next time...watercolors!

Penny Black:  Scarlet Majesty, Believe stamps
Imagine Crafts:  Memento Luxe inks, VersaFine Spanish Moss ink
Faber-Castell:  Polychromo pencils
Pretty Pink Posh:  Sequins

be MERRY

Hello.....

Playing in  the challenge at Reverse Confetti today with this sketch:

My papers are digi and I guess my printer ink needs to be changed because this was not the color combo I was wanting. However, I went with it.

Love, love, love these new wonderful Vintage Ornaments die cuts.

This color combo is really growing on me.
What a happy mistake!

Reverse Confetti:  Vintage Ornaments die, Bring on the Merry stamp
