Repeat, Repeat, Repeat...

Hello there....

So Penny Black came out with their new Valentine's stamps....
my poor wallet!

You probably know by now that my first purchased stamp was a Penny Black and I have loved them ever since.

Wanting to get inky, but without much time, I went with digi papers.
Call me Miss Cheapo, but with all the FREE digi papers out there on the big WWW, why not?

Using a Misti tool, I just kept stamping the word "Repeat" until I ran out of paper. :)

Happy Birthday Denise...

Hi friends! Today The Project Bin's design team is celebrating the birthday of Denise, owner and designer of The Project Bin stamps! In honor of Denise's birthday, the design team is hosting a blog hop to showcase her wonderful stamps :)
Make sure to leave a Happy Birthday wish on the last stop of the hop.

Using the brand new stamp + die set In Your Heart, I cut two hearts and layered them.
Sentiment is heat set.

Background is just a matter of typing her name in a scripty font several times and printing in light gray ink from the computer.
Adorable plaid papers and a die cut stem inked with lime green.
Birthday greeting from the Born Yesterday stamp set.

In My Heart with The Project Bin

Hey there.....

Oh. My. Word.

My first Valentine's card for the new year.

The Project Bin has created this wonderful stamp & DIE set to make beautiful love cards, pages and journaling.

Included with the In My Heart set is the really cool XOXO die which I can't wait to try.

I mean just how darling is that sentiment?!?

A pretty embossing folder for the background and a bit of string finish this card nicely.

May Arts:  Red burlap string
Imagine Crafts:  VersaFine Crimson Red ink
Crafters Companion:  Embossing folder

Love by Simon Says Stamp

Hello.....

Happy 3 sleeps before Christmas.

I am a little late to this party again.....
Heidi at Simon Says Stamp was kind enough to send me an advance stamp set from the new Hey Love release and Mr. Postman delivers said set a wee bit late.

I haven't had time to investigate, but that beautiful "love" sentiment looks a lot like
  Kristina Werner's handwriting.
Sooooo adorable!!!

The embossing on the background is a folder from Spellbinders and the beautiful heart is from the Die-Cember release called Corbel Heart.

A bit of sheer ribbon and you have a really fun Valentine's card.

Simon Says Stamp:  Corbel Heart die, Love stamp set
Spellbinders:  Floral embossing folder
Imagine Crafts: VersaFine Onyx Black ink,  VersaMark ink, White embossing powder
May Arts:  Sheer Pink ribbon

Gingham Christmas with The Project Bin

Hi....

A last minute card that takes no time at all.

A little bit of digi paper from on the World Wide Web, and a beautiful sentiment stamp.
DONE!!!

I printed the digi paper twice so I could fussy cut the flower, pop it up with foam adhesive and a bit of twine.

Stamped the sentiment from Maybe Christmas with black ink and the card is complete.

May Arts:  Lime Burlap String

Thus....something on the fun side!

Is there a Cowgirl in your life?
She would love this Cowgirl Up! stamp set by The Project Bin:

Cute blue jean digi papers from the WWW, and a little script added near the bottom of the card for interest.

Sentiment was stamped with good old VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

A little jute and an adorable red cowgirl boot as an embellishment.

Sistahood Holiday Hop

Hello....

and Welcome to the December Blog Hop with Cas-ual Friday's.

This hop is all about getting the word out for Breast Cancer Awareness.

Women don't just get Breast Cancer in October you know!

So each month on the 17th, card designers from all over the world get together for special inspiration to get the word out.

On my card I used the "hope" sentiment on pattern paper ornaments.
I just can't get enough PLAID!!!!!

Now for the business.....
I am a Breast Cancer Survivor!

Had a mammogram in July 2013, found a lump in October 2013.
That is how fast cancer can grow.
The sisthas are gone and I certainly don't miss them.
Six rounds of chemo and a year of Herceptin treatments.
It was no picnic, but I am here and grateful!

Now...go check yourself!

Make sure to comment on each stop of the hop as there are prizes to be won.
Three (3) $15 gift certificates will be awarded to lucky crafters.
You must comment by 12-19-16 to be eligible.

Your next stop on the hop is:

If you need to start at the beginning of the hop click HERE.

 one last thing....
would you like to be a part of this hop next month? Leave that in the comments also and I will get you all the info. 😃😃😃

a Felt Star tag

Hi....

Couldn't resist making a little something for the Feminine Tag Challenge at Ellen Hutson.

Though this tag would qualify for the Country Christmas theme, since it is made of Felt, I went with Day 4 of the challenge.

Confession....Twirl the wire at the top into a hook and you have an ornament, 😊

Die cut star from felt two times and stitch together.
Die cut Poinsettia from felt and adhere to star.
Stamp sentiment onto felt with Delicata White Shimmer ink.
Add rusted wire and twirl it for a little something, something!

Ellen Hutson:  Santa's Flight stamp
Memory Box:  Plush Puffy Stars die, Fanciful Poinsettia die
Thread
Rusted wire
Tiny button
