Mother, Fathers & Florals with Simon Says Stamp

Hello there....

It's release day at Simon Says Stamp!!

Such wonderful background stamps in the
Mothers, Fathers & Florals release.

Heidi and her team were kind enough to send me the Flora Background stamp to play with.

For those that love to color...
this is the stamp for you!

As you can tell by my card, I stamped, heat embossed and watercolored just a select few of the petals.

I then die cut the center out, leaving me a lot of white space for my sentiment.

Flower from one of my favorite SSS sets, Vellum die cut leaves and a bit of string for a pop of color against all the purple.

I just had to color a little something today with my brand spankin' new Spectrum Noir markers.

It is also handy that this card qualifies for the new challenge over at CAS-ual Friday's.

Stamped the flowers and sentiment from the Mon Ami stamp set.

Colored it up, added some line embossing and a pretty ribbon.

Hey there....

Need a sweet little box for chocolates or a small gift this Valentine's Day?

So easy to whip up one or two with a die cut or a Silhouette Cameo/Cricut (if you have one).

It all starts with the sentiment from The Project Bin:

I mean really...how stinkin' cute are these tiny sentiments sized to fit into that little fat heart?!?

The XOXO band is a 12 inch strip of card stock that has been repeatedly stamped, then wrapped around the Pillowbox.

Penny Black:  Pillowbox die
Imagine Crafts:  VersaFine Onyx Black ink

Happy 2017!!!

There is a new challenge up on the Memory Box blog today and we hope you will participate with us!
Click on the banner below to join us:

My card inspiration was die cut with Snowflake Spectacle and Loop Snowflake Trio.
I am so loving the large loopy snowflake cut from felt!

Repeat, Repeat, Repeat...

Hello there....

So Penny Black came out with their new Valentine's stamps....
my poor wallet!

You probably know by now that my first purchased stamp was a Penny Black and I have loved them ever since.

Wanting to get inky, but without much time, I went with digi papers.
Call me Miss Cheapo, but with all the FREE digi papers out there on the big WWW, why not?

Using a Misti tool, I just kept stamping the word "Repeat" until I ran out of paper. :)

Oh. My. Word.

My first Valentine's card for the new year.

The Project Bin has created this wonderful stamp & DIE set to make beautiful love cards, pages and journaling.

Included with the In My Heart set is the really cool XOXO die which I can't wait to try.

I mean just how darling is that sentiment?!?

A pretty embossing folder for the background and a bit of string finish this card nicely.

Love by Simon Says Stamp

Hello.....

Happy 3 sleeps before Christmas.

I am a little late to this party again.....
Heidi at Simon Says Stamp was kind enough to send me an advance stamp set from the new Hey Love release and Mr. Postman delivers said set a wee bit late.

I haven't had time to investigate, but that beautiful "love" sentiment looks a lot like
  Kristina Werner's handwriting.
Sooooo adorable!!!

The embossing on the background is a folder from Spellbinders and the beautiful heart is from the Die-Cember release called Corbel Heart.

A bit of sheer ribbon and you have a really fun Valentine's card.

Simon Says Stamp:  Corbel Heart die, Love stamp set
Spellbinders:  Floral embossing folder
Imagine Crafts: VersaFine Onyx Black ink,  VersaMark ink, White embossing powder
May Arts:  Sheer Pink ribbon
