Amazing Grace

Hello, hello.....

Sneaking this one in at the last moment at Our Daily Bread Designs Challenge.

Amazing Grace has to be one of the most beautiful songs ever written.
When I saw this stamp, I just had to have it.

The Black background was embossed.
The top White layer was die cut at the bottom and sentiment stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

Layered Lily was stamped with several inks and a bit of Flower Soft for the center.

Amazing Grace

Hi...

One of my most favorite songs is Amazing Grace, so when Our Daily Bread Designs came out with the How Sweet the Sound stamp set, I had to own it.

Playing in their challenge this month using flowers on my creation:

The bottom panel was embossed with a Waves folder.
The top panel was stamped and trimmed around the "g".

A little ribbon to bring the two panels together and the sweetest little flowers that were ever die cut, rolled and fluffed for a more realistic look.

A punched vellum leaf and the looped twine just gives it a little something, something.

Amazing Grace

Hello....

I had originally wanted to make this card with the bookmark as part of the card front....well, that went out the window when I discovered my sentiment was too large ...Poopitz!
So I ended up with a card AND a bookmark.
I am still entering this into the Sparkle and Shine challenge...don't hold it against me. :)

This is such a gorgeous stamp set by Our Daily Bread Designs. Admitting here this is my first product from them, but after checking out their store, I now have a long wish list.

The foliage stamp is by Penny Black. I stamped it onto watercolor paper using Memento markers, then softened the edges with a paintbrush and water.
Edges were inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye and Vintage Photo inks.

Amazing Grace

Hello people....

Playing today in a brand new challenge blog called Tuesday's Take. Projects for this challenge are to be entered by hash tagging on Instagram...now I just need to remember to do that. :)

The inspiration photo:

Of course you see pencils...but I see pastel colors and vertical lines.

Needing another encouragement card, I thought this pattern paper would be perfect for the challenge and for my design.
Love the soft pastel of the eBrushed butterfly.
