Image was colored with pencils. A few die cut banners, washi tape and sequins.

Sup?

Hey friends.....
Halloween is really not my thing but I had this little cutie from Sassy Cheryl's, so I colored her up and will be entering her into the weekly challenge. I love the sentiment from Paper Smooches...LOVE!!!
My little teenage witch is just too hip!!!

Die cuts are from Spellbinders and Cheery Lynn Designs. Tickets are a freebie I found online and last but not least...I used Memento Elderberry Luxe ink, smudged it, so I had to make a fishtail with the sentiment to cover up my boo boo! :)

I have also entered this card into the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

You're Special

Hello my friends....

Christmas card making is in full swing and with this one I am playing along at Sassy Cheryl's Challenge to use a punch. (the tag)

And how Special is the sentiment die???? It is one of the new Wordlets from Die-Versions. Tiny little sentiments just the right size for card makers...OK, they work on Scrapbooks also.

Click here to see all the new Wordlets at Die-Versions.

Those cute little Candi's dots in the top left corner...used to be black and silver...
painted with OPI Nail Polish...LOVE!

I used the Sketch from this week at Operation Write Home, so of course I am entering this card over on their blog.

oh, hello

Oh, hello my peeps....

I love to color...I am not great at it, but it is a fun way to spend my time. I recently received the Spectrum Noir markers and I am trying, but I must say, I think I will have to go to their website and take some lessons. The best part about it..the lessons are Free...gotta LOVE that!

I have decided my go to coloring images are Sassy Cheryl cuties. You can't help but smile when you see this little girl hanging upside down. I figured at some point she will fall, so I gave her a soft pile of leaves so she doesn't get hurt.

The pattern paper is Weekend Market (Bo Bunny), the sentiment is Arrows n' Elements (Reverse Confetti) and the brad is by My Minds Eye. Digi image is Just Hanging Around (Sassy Cheryl's).

This card is also entered in the Spectrum Noir Challenge - Orange.

Graduating Sally

Hello my friends....

This week at Sassy Cheryl's, the challenge is about "School Days". The greatest part of school is graduating...don't you think?
When my boys graduated from school, I got both of them the Dr. Seuss book "Oh the Places you'll go" (this book is so appropriate for anyone starting a new venture in life). I found this sentiment in the Silhouette Store and thought it would go perfect with my graduating Sally.

Still learning how to use Spectrum Noir markers...little bit of a learning curve from Copics...but a lot more affordable...we'll see how it goes.

Ok..no laughing about the tassel...the ribbon is so tiny, I couldn't get the loops to all go in the same direction...so ...poopitz!!

I have also entered this card into the Sketch challenge #192 at Operation Write Home.

Thinking of you

Howdy friends....

While the babies were sleeping I decided to color this little cutie from Sassy Cheryl's digis.
So of course I will be playing in her challenge this week. A very unique challenge, in that she wanted a card with something "off the Page".....so how do you like my extended tree branch (apologies Cheryl, as I had to add a little length to the branch).

For the Monthly challenge at OWH, we were to use a wheel ( does a tire count?)

and lastly, I added a bird from another of the digis at Sassy Cheryl's so I could play in the Critters challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

Besides the digi's,  I used Spectrum Noir markers (new to me, a little learning curve from Copics, but wayyyy more affordable). The pattern paper is Trendsetter by Fancy Pants Designs, Sentiment is Staggered Thinking of You by Sweet Stamps.

Challenge #1 - Sketch

Aspen Frost 6 x 6 pad (Basic Grey), Ornaments (Memory Box), Winter Wonders (Penny Black)
***************************************

Challenge #2.  Use elements on card that start with the letters O W H
Sassy Cheryl's digi, Copics, Furry Christmas stamp(Simon Says Stamp), Cool Highlight (Glitter Ritz)
I used an Orange nose, a White Star and a sentiment that starts with H.

Challenge #3 - Use Triple Die Cutting Technique
Firefly 6 x 6 pad (Prima), Olive card stock, Inside & Out Sayings (Simon Says Stamp),
Stitched Mat Rectangles( Lil Inkers)
This was a really fun challenge as I don't remember ever making a card with this technique. The matting really makes the card look elegant.

Happy Birthday

Good morning my friends....

Playing along today with a couple of challenges.
Moxie Fab Trigger Tuesday had this picture as inspirations:

I literally took the idea of the teacup and the colors for my card. I have been itching to color the cute image of the girl balancing her teacups (Dr. Seuss comes to mind)...adorable!!
So of course I am also playing along at Sassy Cheryl's challenge (it is her image after all) which is a Birthday card.

I used the tiniest flower stamps I could find for the cups to duplicate the inspiration picture....ok no laughing!

And because this could be a card for a kid, I am also entering it into the challenge at OWH (where the card will go to anyway).

Happy Birthday to Lil' Inkers (joined this challenge also) !!! I don't have any of Lil' Inkers stamps (yet) but all the layers were used with their dies (LOVE...just sayin').

So folks...four challenges, one card...Yay me!

What do you do with all your cards? Almost all of my cards go to OWH...it is a great way for our troops to keep in touch with the family and friends, and I know that my cards are being appreciated.

Hope you are having a wonderful crafty day!

Let's go Shopping:
Digi (Sassy Cheryl's)
Stitched mats & Circles (Lil Inkers)
Sentiment/flowers stamps - Summer Fun, Charms (Penny Black)

Frosty Star

Hi again.....I am trying to catch up, but I keep finding things that need to be posted.

I made this little cutie for the Die-Versions new Corner Concepts release.
Are you loving those stars???
(Just one of eight new Corners).

And how appropriate that I found this adorable digi by Sassy Cheryl's to compliment the new Stars Corner.

Isn't it just a Kawinkie Dink that I am able to post this card on this challenge??
I am lucky that way!!!

Once upon a time

This card was Spotlighted at Paper Crafter's Library - Trendy Tuesday
also received Honorable Mention at CASology.

Hello friends...I see a soldier sending this card home to his/her little girl, to remind the child of happier times with mom or dad. When I received this new Four Seasons Tree die from Die-Versions I knew immediately that I wanted the little cutie patootie Maddie from Sassy Cheryl's sitting under that tree.

Even though the tree is in the Fall release, you could use this tree year round on your card or scrapbook pages....picture a swing hanging from the tree, or tiny berries added for spring...the list could go on.

This card will be going to Operation Write Home where I hope one of our troops will enjoy writing a personal note inside to their child.
In the meantime, I am entering it into the "Black & White" challenge at Sassy Cheryl's.

Also entered into the "Book" challenge at CASology.

Snowy Note

Happy Friday my friends.... Do you have wonderful crafty plans?

Playing with my boys for a couple of days, then off to the parents next week.

The challenge at Sassy Cheryl's is to make anything except a card (Does she not know that I am a card maker...period!) So I have for you a hand made note pad. Super easy to make and throw in your purse, or include with a hand made card as a nice little gift.

How adorable is the snowman hanging onto the star? Cheryl's drawings are just so fun!!!
Sentiment is from the Sentimental set by Penny Black.

Go enjoy the start of your weekend...go!

Thinking of You

Hey peeps...I am super busy this week trying to catch up on DT work and publication submissions and challenges and and and and.... How are you doing?

By now you know that I have fallen in love with Sassy Cheryl's digis, so of course I had to play along in her challenge of Cream/White/Vintage.

My little Sally is wishing for cooler temperatures, so she is dressed for Fall. The sentiment is the Sentimental set by Penny Black. The "flower" is punched from a Fiskars 2" scallop punch, frond punch by Martha Stewart.
This card is also entered into the Operation Write Home Punch Challenge.

Thanks so much for stamping by...
