Hi there.....

It's time for a new challenge at

Words 2 Craft By.

YAYNESS!!!!!

With a Holiday theme and because I love anything Country, I give you a very simple example of how easy it is to make a Christmas card.

I pulled out a favorite wood stamp by Penny Black called Adornment for the wreath.

Added Autumn Red Crystal Drops for the berries.

The sentiment from the Love & Peace set also by Penny Black was stamped with VersaFine Vintage Sepia ink.

This was the last of my Gingham Ribbon.....I am so sad....I loved it so!!!

My Cup Runneth Over with Words 2 Craft By

Hi there.....

November is a time of thanks and being grateful...shouldn't we really being doing that everyday?

So today I am grateful that I had the most wonderful mother of all! She let me know she loved me everyday of her life.

I remember my mother saying to me "My cup runneth over" when she was talking to me or giving me a hug.

I do the same with my grandsons. Maybe one day they will do the same with their children.

Over on the Words 2 Craft By blog we are starting a new challenge this month.

It's all about Abundance.

So...sticking with my theme of "my cup runneth over", I just had to use the new Collage a Card for Her kit by Crafter's Companion.

It's like playing with paper dolls. Punch out the sections you want, adhere together and wala....

DONE!

Think outside the box with Words 2 Craft By

Hey there.....

There is a new challenge starting today at Words 2 Craft By.

When they said the theme this month is Back to School, I just knew I had to make this card.

I can't tell you how many times I heard this saying while working for a Fortune 500 company.

It really is a great card to send to someone who is just starting High School or College.

AND

Sooooo simple to make!

Sentiment was done on a computer, then cut cardstock to card size.

Trim a box in the center of card front, draw some unequal lines around box, add ribbon and butterfly.

Summer Challenge at Words 2 Craft By

Hi.....

Ok, pretty stinkin' cute!

There is a new challenge today at Words 2 Craft By and it's all about Summer!

Knowing I had this adorable sentiment from The Project Bin, I decided to make a Flip Flop Shaker card.

The Purple is actually an Amethyst Sparkle Marker...oh the shine!!!!

Top of shoe is just a matter of using two different Spectrum Noir markers to make lines.

No Flip Flop is complete without some kind of embellishment at the toe!!!

God's Grace with Words 2 Craft By

Hello, hello...

There is anew challenge happening today at

Words 2 Craft By.

Because of the theme this month, I just had to do Red, White and Blue.

The sentiment was done on my 'puter.

Pretty patriotic papers were found on the big World Wide Web.

A tiny zig zag of sewing across the top and a few Crystal Drops finish this card.

Just Married with Words 2 Craft By

Hello.....

It's June and that means Wedding Season.

A new challenge just started at 

Words 2 Craft By

and you will find this card along with a few others the designers have created for you.

I originally designed this card a while back, but never had an opportunity to showcase it.

Isn't it handy that this card now works for the current challenge?!?

I inlaid the scroll, die cut the flower, then eBrushed it.

The leaves are die cut Vellum.

The sentiment is a Foil Rub-On...

I know, RIGHT?!?

Wanting to try the "box card" I saw on Split Coast Stampers.

Here is the link for the instructions.

My new goodies from The Ton were just screaming for this Shadowbox.

The instructions call for a panel to cover the box, making it into more of a card.

As you can tell...I left that part off and made an easel for the back of the box with heavyweight cardstock.

My grandson will soon be turning 5 and I thought this card looked boyish enough that he will love it...especially what's inside the card....$$ for more Legos!

Oh JOY!  Like he doesn't have enough already.

A really old embossing folder, but hey, that kept me from adding a separate sentiment. 😀

Lucky

Hello...

Well aren't you Lucky to have arrived here today for the start of another great challenge over at the Words 2 Craft By blog.

Click on over for a look at the fabulous cards provided by the Inspiration Team.

My card is really simple to make...especially if you have a Silhouette Cameo.

Letters were die cut 3 times so I could layer them for dimension.

Stamping at the bottom of each letter and a bit of coloring.

Finished the card by mounting on a green card base.
