Runway Inspired

Today the Penny Black Stamp Squad is playing along with the Runway Inspired Blog.

Using the inspiration picture below, I wanted to create a card that was elegant, yet fun with lots of dimension.

I Spy... silver background with a burgundy focal point, flowers and ruffles (any dress designers out there...stop laughing).

This is how I made the Bashful die into a (daisy?)...Ok, some other flower.

I stamped and heat embossed Trailing Beauty (40-207) twice using Burgundy embossing powder on Burgundy card stock, then die cut my frames from that as well as Bashful (51-008) three times.

Dry embossed, curled and stacked three Bashful cuts to become a fuller flower.
Flower center was a large faux jewel heat embossed to match.

Sentiment from Petal Party (30-113) Transparent set was heat embossed with Silver and card was attached to Metallic Silver card stock.

We hope you will play along at the Runway Inspired Challenge with us.
(Prizes involved....just sayin')

Thanks for stamping by...
