Two cards, One die

The card on the left was selected as a Favorite of the Week at Split Coast Stampers.

Happy Tuesday my friends.....

After watching a video by Jennifer McGuire on die cutting with blocks of color, I decided to try my hand at making a version of her beautiful card.

I loved the rainbow of colors and tried to CASE (copy and share everything) it as closely as I could.

What I really loved about her lesson was that I ended up with materials to make two cards with one die cut panel.

I just love how this cute Bashful die (Penny Black 51-008) turned out!

Sentiments are from the Every Happiness (Penny Black 40-198) stamp set.

Jennifer is the August Muse at Case Study and here is the inspiration photo this week:

Pretty card. I watched that video too, it's a great technique, as Jennifer's card, and now your fabulous card shows. Must give it a try. I like how you can make two cards at the same time.

Wowzer, Penny! I really love these cards--gorgeous use of that die (which I intend to order soon!) Think I better check out Jennifer's technique.
