happy little Easter

Hi...

I know this will be a shock, but I have made a card for no other reason than I wanted to color something for Easter.
I have next to nothing in the Easter department as far as stamps go, so I went cruising the web looking for something adorable to color and give to my grand-babies.
I found the coolest digi site:

So darn cute!!!!! I have something else I will be doing for Easter from this site as well as my dad's Fathers Day card.  I even received a couple of really sweet freebies just for making a purchase.
At this site, not only do you get the line image, but she throws in the colored image, sentiments and pattern papers...this store is my new best friend.

Trying to take a picture of a shimmery look is a pain in the patootie!
Just imagine shimmer on all the paint!  :)

Let's go Shopping:
Doodle Pantry:  Easter Egg Ants digi
Copic Markers
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko:  irRESISTible Pico Shimmer
Authentique:  Be(you)tiful 6 x 6 pad
Poppy Stamps:  Puffy Cloud Border die
Queen & Co.:  Trendy washi tape

Somebunny

Hello, hello....

Love to color...did you know that?
Of course you did!!!

The fun thing about digi images is that you can merge them together. Rarely do I color a digi without adding a little something to the image.
In this case I took the adorable little girl with the bunnies and placed her on top of the small white dog. Now he looks as though he is peeking around her.
If this dog is anything like my small white dog, that girl better hang on to her bunny, or he will be shaking it until the squeaker comes out.  :)

How adorable are her bunny ears with the Neon White Amplify! added for texture?!?

Challenges Entered:
Tiddly Inks -  Sketch
MarkerPop  -  Bright Colors

Hop To It Reveal

Hello, hello....

I did a tiny sneak last week for Simon Says Stamps new release Hop To It, and this is the full reveal.

I really like to replace letters in greetings with objects, and I love how the tiny flower pot makes a perfect "A". It just makes for a fun card!
As I am writing this post I see that the flower pot would have been perfect for the "I" in Spring also.

Used up a little of my pattern paper (one of my New Years resolutions). Yay!
The veneer butterfly has gesso painted on, then I dropped ink onto it and watch it do its magic. While wet, I sprayed it with Fixative to set and iced it with irRESISTible Pico Shimmer.

The adorable flower center is made with Radiant Neon White Amplify!

Earlier this week I did a couple of sneaks for this card.
Both cards were stamped with the same stamp set, but I was in a coloring mood and came up with this little cutie.
By leaving off a sentiment, I am able to use this card for almost any occasion.

I just couldn't resist using the new Radiant Neon White Amplify! for his cottontail.

Brighten my Day

Hey there....

I need to go to photography school, followed by how to use Photoshop. This card is the most gorgeous Coral color....but here it looks kind of red. :(

Playing along today at CASology with their challenge:

I made the paisley stencil with my handy dandy Silhouette Cameo, then used my eBrush and marker to achieve this beautiful background.

Fishtails were airbrushed, then I took a blender pen to make the stripes. Base card was airbrushed at the bottom also.

When using an eBrush, you are not suppose to get the splatters that you see, but the marker was too full of ink, and I like the effect, so I just went with it.

The @ sign is a veneer piece that I coated with irRESISTible Pico Wedding Dress, then spritzed with Sheer Shimmer Sparkle.

Challenges Entered:
CASology  -  Monochrome

Let's go Shopping:
Simon Says Stamp:  Watts Up stamp
Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko:  Radiant Neon Coral Ink, Sheer Shimmer Sparkle, irRESISTible Pico Wedding Dress
Silhouette Cameo & Online Store Paisley design
Veneer embellishment
Thread
Craftwell:  eBrush

Thanks for Brightening my day and stamping by.....

Silhouette Bedroom

Oh happy day.....

It is finished, complete, done!!!!

I don't normally show my bedroom on this blog, but there are a couple of things I did in my room makeover that I want to post to craft sites....so you get the pleasure of seeing where I lay my head.
The room is gray, white and teal (though the pictures somewhat reveal a different shade of blue).

The room was painted in Revere Pewter (a gray/beige I call Greige). Comforter and pillows were a find at Marshalls. I made the balloon curtains (that's what I did for a living back when I grew up with the dinosaurs).

The huge saying on the wall was cut with vinyl on my Silhouette Cameo. Maybe not something you might want to look at everyday, but when you have spent the past year going through chemo, you might change your mind. I needed a motto to get through the bad days and I just carried this saying through to my survivor mode.  :)

As you can tell, I am not a photographer, but I wanted to show the flowers I made from the left over fabric.

I cut 3 circles from fabric, sprayed with starch, poked a whole in the center and adhered with a brad.
Gathered up each layer around the brad, then twisted some floral wire around the base.
So easy!!!

Declan Stryker & Ryder Malachi

Teals frames I found at Micheal's on the clearance rack....Score!

When my grandsons were born, the nurse inked up their feet and smooshed them onto Papas white T-shirt. I cut the shirt up so I could mat these little piggy memories into a frame.
If you look closely, you can see that I die cut their names from the same color as the mat.
(of course, I die cut them several times, stacked and adhered them together, so they have a wonderful dimension inside the shadowbox).

Thanks so much for stamping by.....
Oh, no stamps were used in these projects.

Ok then, thanks for stopping by.....

Happy Valentine's Day Dad

Happy Valentine's Day

I have THE best dad in the world and I wanted to share the card I made for him.

Dad and I have this thing on the phone where he tells me he loves me, then I tell him I love him more.
I found this adorable sentiment in the Silhouette Online Store and knew this would make him smile.

This is a 10 minute card...really!

Printed the sentiment and die cut the scalloped heart with my Silhouette.
There is craft foam & acrylic card stock between the layers. Added some glitter to shaker, washi tape, tied a bow and finished with a wooden heart. (No fair counting drying time for the glitter glue).  :)

Challenges Entered:
Virginia's View  -  Shaker
CASology  -  Love

I hope you have a wonderful day filled with hearts, chocolate and love!

Let's go Shopping:
Silhouette Cameo + Cut files
Martha Stewart:  Glitter, Glitter leaves, Micro beads
