Butterfly Swirls at Words 2 Scrap By

Happy February!!!

Today I am over on the Words 2 Scrap By blog.
Our mission this month is to try something different.

I have a confession to make.....I have all these beautiful Designer pads of paper and I forget to use them.
Or
I am saving them.
Or
I only have 3 sheets of this pattern and I don't want to waste it if I mess up.

Is any of this sounding familiar to you?!?

So another of my new Resolutions this year besides making birthday cards, is to use these pads of paper!

Come on over to the challenge blog and play along:

All those reasons sound very familiar to me too!! I love this beautiful card! The embossed background is gorgeous and I love how you left some of the pieces in the butterfly! Thanks for playing along with us at Scrapy Land Challenge #10!

What a lovely card -- so pretty, with such a creative way of using that hoarded paper. :)

How incredibly beautiful, Penny! Yes, I am guilty as charged - mostly I forget to use my printed papers. Beginning last Autumn, I began forcing myself to look through my papers for every project, whether they are used or not, just so I can remember what I own. LOL

I have to say that your butterfly sympathy card is one of the prettiest cards I've every seen - VERY elegant and heartfelt - I've pinned your card to CAS it later. I also like the way you've put the pretty designer paper behind the white embossed paper. AND how some of the pieces are retained in the white butterfly - such a WOW card!

I am in Florida, too, and am so glad to be one of your followers.

Thanks for playing in the Scrapy Land Challenge using die cuts! I hope to see more of your pretty projects in the next challenge, too! hugs and blessings, de {Creative Smiles}
