Coral & Vellum

Hello....

Have you noticed that the "it" color this summer is going to be Coral?
Walk into any clothing store and it is everywhere.
I LOVE it!!!!

Hopping around the card challenge circuit and I find a Coral challenge at Simon Says Stamp...
woohoo!!!

Cardmaking interruption to let you know..... I had the coral panel inked, stamped and heat embossed when I remembered I had the new Tim Holtz Abandoned Coral ink pad...that I have yet to open
Face planted into fist!!!

Oh well...really loving the Radiant Neon Coral I used anyway!

Alphabet Background was stamped along the edge then heat set with iridescent embossing powder. Floral stems were die cut, then I snipped the flowers so I could add Viola Sprouts flowers in vellum.
Spellbinders Rosette Blooms die was cut from Vellum, folded accordion style and adhered to card as the large focal point.

Sentiment was die cut several times, stacked and adhered together, then coated with Pico Wedding Dress.

Challenges Entered:
Simon Says Stamp Monday  -  Don't abandon the Coral
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday  -  Sentimental

I guess it was a Simon kind of day!

Let's go Shopping:
Simon Says Stamp:  Viola Sprouts die, With Sympathy die, Alphabet Background stamp
Spellbinders:  Rosette Blooms die, A2 Curved Borders die
Memory Box:  Bella Bouquet die
Imagine Crafts featuring Tsukineko:  Radiant Neon Coral ink, irRESISTible Pico Wedding Dress, Versamark ink, Iridescent embossing powder
Copic markers
Vellum
Twine dyed with Radiant Coral reinker

Thanks so much for stamping by today....

Oh, Penny, my dear friend!!! I am sorry for the lack of my commenting lately - I have been struggling and doing some soul searching about life, my faith and my place in this world so I have not been on the computer much!! I have looked through your awesome posts with all your amazing creations and rather than go backwards and comment on all of them I am going to start fresh!! This is so incredibly gorgeous and I love the vellum flowers - genius idea!!! WOW - you always amaze me and help me to feel inspired to try some new idea!!! Hugs to you along with a plea for forgiveness at neglecting you and all your awesomeness!!! HUGS!!
