Inspiration from a Catalog

Hello, hello....

You just never know where you are going to find inspiration for your artwork.
A couple of days ago I received a Pier One catalog in the mail, and there it was....a gorgeous ornament (that of course I would never buy, because I can make one), but the possibilities of it becoming a card were real.

I guess the clean lines are what grabbed my attention.

Wanting to do something special with the Gold stripe, I took a piece of Gold card stock, added glue and sprinkled with Gold micro beads.
I love the texture this embellishment brought to my creation.

Heat embossed sentiment (still loving this wonderful font), a Copic colored Holly and a few snowflakes.
Pretty Easy Peasy Mr. Sneezy!
