Simon Says Stamp Cyber Week Reveal

Last week I gave you a little sneak of the new Suzy's Watercolor Prints from Simon Says Stamp.

Today you get the full reveal.

Let me just say how fun it is to open the package of watercolor prints to find sooooo much goodness without having to purchase a gazillion stamps.

I watercolored with Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers.

For added dimension I simply added a gingham bow and distressed the edges of the card front.

Super simple!!!

Thanks Miss Heidi and your team at Simon Says Stamp for sending me an advance of the Suzy's Watercolor Prints.

I stamped and heated embossed the bottom of the card.
Stamped and colored the flowers with Spectrum Noir ColourTint pencils.
Stamp the sentiment, add a few sequins and wala!

I hope you will join our challenge this month.
Prizes are involved!!!

Promises Fulfilled with Penny Black

Hi there.....

I have to admit I have had this Adornments stamp for a while and finally got a minute to play.

There is just something old fashioned about this stamp that I truly love!!!

For the ornaments I used a Misti stamping tool and Memento markers.
Metallic Silver pen for the tops and hangers.

I finished the card by stamping across the top and side with Christmas Reds and Greens.
The sentiment is from the Love and Peace set.

Do you have this stamp?
I would love to see what you have created with it in the Penny Black Flickr Group HERE.

Magical Holly Flower with Crafter's Companion

Hello there....

So... I was showing a friend how the Lindy's Magicals work on watercolor paper. I just sprinkled the teeniest bit of powder and spritzed with water.
Wala...this is what appeared and I knew the exact die cut I wanted to use with my watercolor creation.

Crafter's Companion debuted quite a few new dies and stamps this past week on Home Shopping Network and I have totally fallen in love with the Holly Flower Corner.

The die partially cuts the holly and flower so you can raise it slightly for dimension.

I added a bit of ribbon and stamped a sentiment called Merry Christmas...
also available at Home Shopping Network.

My Cup Runneth Over with Words 2 Craft By

Hi there.....

November is a time of thanks and being grateful...shouldn't we really being doing that everyday?

So today I am grateful that I had the most wonderful mother of all! She let me know she loved me everyday of her life.

I remember my mother saying to me "My cup runneth over" when she was talking to me or giving me a hug.
I do the same with my grandsons. Maybe one day they will do the same with their children.

Over on the Words 2 Craft By blog we are starting a new challenge this month.
It's all about Abundance.

So...sticking with my theme of "my cup runneth over", I just had to use the new Collage a Card for Her kit by Crafter's Companion.

It's like playing with paper dolls. Punch out the sections you want, adhere together and wala....

I hope you will join us over at Words 2 Craft By for this months challenge:
